2.
With due respect to Mr. West, why bring this up now after celebrating the first events?  It was no secret that the center was going to be named after Dr. Thomas. Look, I see it this way. I wasn't in love with naming the Center after Dr. Thomas, either.  However, a majority of the duly elected board of trustees of the Beaumont ISD thought otherwise...and if there was an uproar at the decision amongst the voting public, it certainly has not been reported by any of the Beaumont media outlets.  I won't begrudge those who continue to oppose the naming of the facility, but I will wonder at it.  Until it is named otherwise by this or another set of trustees, I call it the Thomas Center as that is what, through its representatives, the voting members of the Beaumont ISD have chosen to name it.
Very nice post Grad
Hard to call since you guys KNOW Central is gonna be coming out ready to make up for that first game. Those boys have something to prove now, namely that they aren't losers and from what I saw on TV the Brook didn't exactly dominate Ozen in spite of winning. Don't shoot the messenger, JMO.  ;) I think I'm going to give Central a 1 point edge on this one. Central 7 WB 6
:o
 7. Reyes started the game. Stump came into the game aas a QB with about 3 or 4 minutes left in the game.

We really looked like a deer stuck in head lights last night. Seem like your Hurry up offense was really to hard for our D to handle, Hopefully our coaches get something going for the Brook game..I think we're better than what we played But Titans good win you guys will contend for the District championship
im rooting for CHS next week
Thanks

He will be just fine. He works harder and is the future of the Dogs. When someone thinks he is bigger than the program, it is not that big of a loss. There is no room for laziness on a football team. I am sure this will get erased.........Whatever
???
??? ???

 14.
Don't think you'll see many playoff games at any of three newest stadiums in SETX. The only one that you may get is 3A and below. 4A and 5A schools in our area will either go for home toss or nuetral field that won't include any of our area stadiums.  The Houston area has the stadiums that are actually neutral sites and will beat out our area every year. You might have some soccer playoffs and band stuff there, but that's it. I doubt LU will host anything HS anymore. What would be nice is if they could pass some type of agreement that says we'll travel to Houston area one year for playoffs, but then after that the next year first two rounds has to be in southeast Texas no matter who's playing. Between Beaumont stadiums and PNG stadium, you could hold alot of playoff games like that. Just wishing though
The UIL told our AD that they will send in a team to evaluate the area and stadiums for possible playoff games. I hope they like what they see and hear.
 15. I just love the favorite route description for Da Brook  ;D
