Stump is doing some good things at West Brook. He's trying to build a championship program. West Brook is not yet where they want to be but that staff and kids there and especially the ones at the sub varsity level is really getting after it to become better. They were down for about 7 years after the Ozen split. getting back is the challenge. Yes, pana there are more 6'-5" ers on their way. And we will not be splitting our high schools in Beaumont anytime soon. The kids like playing for this guy, he does it the right way. Also, as a side note Central is now growing in student population and should have a even larger athletic pool to pick from in the future.

Cooper is a speed back, can cut on a dime. He's a little smaller than Albert but some say he faster, if you can believe that. In the first 5 games on the JV I belive he score every rushing TD. Stump will give him a little more work each week and hope he can be a solid contributor come playoff time reggardless if Albert is back or not,

I met some of those Lumberton kids this summer out at West Brook running track with the Beaumont Track Club. They have a few players with speed. I told them at the time that Summer Track is the place to get ready for football. Kids with great attitudes also.
