what's so hard??? healthy kid dies for no reason.loved ones being cut open is a horsepucky reason not to get an autopsy. theway they are cut,you never knew they were cut.besides,all the funerals i went to had clothes on the body. not sound cold and heartless,but they are gone.they won't feel the cut.it's like people saying " i don't won't to be incinerated because i don't won't my body burned"

coach joe "bone" washington-"get me a reciever!!!!!!!" funny guy that's a second team reciever goes and stands next to coach off the bench. coach begins to tell him the play to send in.looks into the helmet after he tells him the play,then says "damn it,i said get me a reciever !!!!!!"

this is unfair to the fullest!!!! this is high school,not college. for all we know,these kids could have gone away for the summer.had summer school.summer jobs. funny how we baby them when people on this board say"oh,don't talk johnny b. passing game,he's just a 17/18 year old kid" what happend to these three seniors being kids and enjoying the summer. now is the time to work and by week zero if they are not ready then they ride pine.period.

the "mid county" merger would still have them getting beat like red headed step children. remeber pn-g tried to play 5a after tearing the 4a??? yeah same thing would happen.

actually only part of that is somewhat true. they are afraid to play PAM and surley woudn't be the "whipping boys". nederland is 0-3 against lamarque,getting whipped easily. p.a.lincoln from 96 lost games that they should of won and it wasn't thier fault they lost and i'll leave it as that.have we forgotten who was the homecoming game for eveyone during the bobby august era???yeah,i know,it was the bullpups.

don't get mad with me out of 71 people 28(ahead in the poles) think the pups are overrated as well. PAM was not .500 last year and niether was lamarque(state champs that gave nederland a light spanking).tear before that PAM was under .500 due to rita and a spineless coach. 03-04 above .500. 02 above .500. now who needs to read facts?? fact is most people think nederland is overrated(28 out of 71)

i remember pn-g used to sneak a wr into the game. this was before the breaking the huddle with too many/not enough. the offense would huddle,except one guy who would stand on the sideline in bounds like he was talking to the coach.huddle breaks and he's still talking to the coach. snap of the ball he turns around or had the option of going deep with no one around him ;D

i never claimed PAM as a powerhouse. that "championship" they have is like saying p.a.lincoln won one,which they did in the p.v. league. sorry buddy,don't kid yourself.i wish/hope everyone can make it far(except nederland)but, this area is so far behind it ain't funny.wo-s is the only school with the formula to get it done.e.c. is next in line.if a state champ is going to be from the triangle,it's going to a small school.

what's funny about this thread,is everyone looks good!!! we as h.s. football nuts,are craving football so much to where ol look like they run 4.4's.kinda hard to evaluate right now till the pads get put on. but glad to hear moral is up and eveyone is getting excited. wish my team(s) started today

they are not formittable.they are lucky. first of all,they are blessed with the 3 team format of going to the playoffs.(yeah,so is PAM and everyone else).when getting into the playoffs,they get lucky and face the third place team in bi-district and the scrub team in the second rd. then they get tossed in the 3rd...badly. HERE THESE WORDS,NEDERLAND WILL NEVER WIN A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP...EVER!!! as much as i hate to say it,no one from the triangle will bring home gold,well wo-s got the best chance.

hopefully none of these kids will have any trouble in this heat. i remember one year kids were dropping like flies...dead ones. PAM haven't started yet,r.t. have them practice into the night with the stadium lights on for game simulations.i'm not a coach,but with today's heat compared to the 80's and back,i would have weight training and wind sprints in the gym.this session would be morning session. afternoon session we would hit the field at 4:00,it gets cooler than hotter this way,till 8:00-8:30

atascocita-another romping would be great,since coach q threw a big fit afater the game cussing and tearing up the locker room. humble-all the complaints from last year,they need another spanking. brook-just because it's a city rival ;D

sorry,but you only will be playing the regular 10 games alotted to you. after that,you have permission to play basketball.
