Yeah, we are doing just that. We need to cut down on the penalties though and secondary needs to tighten up. Our defense looked very solid against the run last night.

Kirbyville definely had too much speed for HF. I have to give credit to HF because they didn't give up. That rb #25 for HF is a hard runner, but payed for the yards per carry. I'm like Scooter now, hopefully we could surprise some folks and make it to the big dance! I'll see everyone at SFA saturday. Go Kats!!!!!

Carthage defensive line is huge. Everybody think Silsbee is big, take a look at Carthage and twice as many players than any team in our district.

I've said all year long that Carthage is the fastest and most dangerous football team Kirbyville has faced. I'm pulling for them to beat the Lumberjacks by 14+

Should be a dandy. Kirbyville would dominate the teams Newton is playing in their district. How many seniors Newton has on their team this year???

If you think comparing scores between Kirbyville and HF will guarantee you a win, you are in for a rude of awakening. Oh yeah, by the way, Since Jasper enrollment in 21-3a, they are tied with Kirbyville 3-3. Kirbyville will bring their "A" game against your horns!!!

Playing Jasper early on the schedule didn't help us by any means. Since Jasper dropping in 21-3a the series is tied 3-3. Actually its our defense that is struggling due to lots of key injuries, but is getting healthy real fast. If you think comparing these games between Kirbyville and HF will guarantee you a win, dude you in for a rude of awakening.

Kirbyville 24 HF 14 4th quarter

Kirbyville was the better team that year, we just started out bad. Jasper is leading the series 18-3 over us but doesn't amount to anything. This isn't the same Kirbyville team Newton was playing in the 90's. Kirbyville would probably embarrass Newton right about now. Newton has a great program with tradition, but Kirbyville has gotten a whole lot tougher with alot of talent coming up. I hope these 2 teams match up soon because we owe yall BIG TIME!!!!

Long time rivalry Kirbyville and Newton, what a game this would be. Hopefully Coop we go to 2a next year and keep Jasper and Silsbee on the non-district schedule.

Those squid kicks help yall beat us by a big margin and you know that. Yeah I agree on our defense not being consistant. Since you wanna compare games Jasper didn't score but 6 points on our defense with about a minute left in the game, but they scored 21 on yall. That just to show you comparison doesn't mean anything and I reallly hope we face up again.

HF need to be worried about a bunch of 'em that is fast on Kirbyville team. You won't getcha win at our house this friday.

Those rankings don't mean anything these days because anybody can get beat on any given night. Kirbyville was ranked #1 in 21-3a and we loss to yall guys. I don't believe in luck, but I do believe our defense will get better and we make it to state. I was hoping some how meet up again.

I don't care what Cleveland team they are. WOS isn't that much better than us either. Kirbyville will be too much for the Indians.

Both teams played a hard game. Kirbyvillle defense has been inconsistent all year long and I was really worried about this game. Both teams made alot of mistakes and I think Kirbyville made the most especially with the turnovers and clock management. Losing coach Barbay really hurt us, this new coach need to get his head in the game and make some adjustments when needed.

I can promise u Kirbyville is fixing to blow HF out. I hope your LB and QB comes back because that seem to be an excuse. We have several injuries out, but heart plays a big role. We aint Silsbee so get ready.
