Bondcrusher... i do not care what happens with the stadium.... You would think with all the support that is given to the football team donations could be given to cover the cost of most of those upgrades in the bond... I am more worried about the schools... bandaids do not work when a complete replacement is needed. The only reason I say you are weak and scared on this subject is you are probably a regular poster on this board that created a new name to keep people from knowing you identity... anyone who has PMed me and asked for my name has been given it except ole titan.. because we would have probably thrown down.. That is all.. I do have to say this... I think that the sport facilities bond and the school buildings bonds need to be separate... also a second opinion from another firm would be nice... but that is expensive.

Look at all these folks who are on here anonomously complaining about the bond.. You are weak and scared.. The bond is needed. Most of these schools are junk.. We need to get our schools up to par... even Beaumont and Port Arthur will be better than us... You are complaining about the money.... and how it is unfair.. But this is what are tax dollars are for and atleast we get to choose... I would much rather pay for a school bond than pay for illegal immigrant healthcare... Oh and by the way the old buildings are not AdA complient... They do maintain the schools.. but the problem is they are old and out dated... Central as well as CO have window units (not energy friendly).. the highschool has green and orange carpets from the 70's .... You are a bozo bondcrusher 09..... The codes your home had to meet are building codes... not ADA codes for public buildings... ( You do not have to have a wheelchair ramp along with your steps at your home... but a public place has to have them )

I am getting frustrated with this lack of news as well.. You would think that they would be releasing information all the time about this to keep the public interested and build up some excitement about this new program...

Chazz, they had less than 100k buys for their ppv.. That is not that good.. They are trying to restructure all the fighters contracts because they cannot afford to put it on. And I will do what most people are going to do... I will DVR affliction and watch the UFC live. I also do know that just because their next show will not be on ppv does not know they are going to fold.. you just have to look. They have a very small talent pool and they are very highly paid folks. Affliction will not do well to challenge the ufc. Affliction put their undercard on FSN once and and HDNET the next time and the old replays of the UFC on spike still out did those in ratings by a wide margin.. Just because it is free does not mean more folks will tune in.

Yes I did watch K1.. They had some pretty exciting fights... I am really looking forward to the upcoming Dream 8... I am a huge fan of Aoki. Also Strikeforce looks to have a great card.. I am no ufc nuthugger... i just think affliction ran a really really crappy business model.. . throw a ton of money at it and hope it works (kinda like our new prez)... But Strikeforce seems to have a good business model and some good fighters and will do well.. Other than those 3 orgs there are really no other good MMA organizations in the world... and none of those have the size and fan base as UFC/WEC.

Chazz, If affliction is not profitable soon they will need to fold.. They signed these folks to huge contracts that they could not afford. I like affliction but it has a 70% chance of failure. So those heavyweights will most likely become ufc heavyweights...

Chazz you got it all wrong buddy... Baseball is right. Look at GSP and Matt Hughes they fight at 170 but walk around at almost 190 and are at about 185 fight night. They cut water weight to make the weight class then replenish themselves after they weigh in.

He knocked that poor kid that he fought silly... That knock out was ridiculous... It took them a while to wake him back up... I want to see him turn pro and fight some tougher competition... but he looks to be the real deal... I am glad that he is working with TPC because his ground game needs to continue to improve for him to move up... because he sure has the hands to make some noise. Congrats to all the fighters from TPC who won... Great job guys... I sure hope to see some Gracie Barra guys next time around...
