Here is my thoughts on your post lazeek... Yes maybe we over achieved last year.. but that over achievement was more than Deane or Giovanni achieved in their tenure... Roc has done a decent job of bringing in some decent talent.... I hope that it continues to turn around... He has drawn in bigger crowds than any other coach that we have had...

We will have much more experience next year.. this year we have and will have a young team next year...but Brandon Moton... Ashton Hall... plus Nabors... hopefully Custer if he can get a bit stronger, he has improved a ton since last year and I sure hope that it continues.... and who ever our point is going to be will be our starting line up... Our bench strength will be much better next year as well. They will all have a full year of experience and a lot more conditioning and such... This season has frustrated me more than any so far... we started off so well then the wheels fell off.

No I do not want the kid thrown out or anything... This was just a prime opportunity to show that they hold their students to a high moral code... I could care less about him playing in a stupid basketball game... Now they have set a poor precedent showing that there is no real penalty for breaking that law. It is the big picture....Baylor has a high code of ethics and he probably lost his scholarship.... that is the sad part...

I agree. It just ticks me off that this kid will probably lose the scholarship that could be his chance to succeed... And the school district blows it off.. They could have set a precedent with this situation to keep some other kid from throwing their life away for a little smoke or some other dumb mistake... That is why I am so infuriated by the situation...

Poor leadership in this school is the root cause.. they had a chance to do something right and they blew it...
