Well I am excited about alot of the players that we have coming in... I think we will be more competitive each year... I sure hope that we can get a big fella... Next year we will be a little bigger with Nwuevo Custer and Nabors... but we still need a new 6'10" big man.

Are you sure he is coming next year?? Did he have to get his grades up or something??

I do not think we win this game... I believe we lose by 10 points...

Dove... It is just a matter of the bball team pulling their heads out of their ass and playing with some balls and intensity... They rolled over like scared little girls that past 2 games.. But they have shown that they can play well... Lets see if they can light the fire again...

Thank Jesus this is over... Government accoutablility.... This was the biggest issue.. I could care less about the list...

With this season came so many high expectations and with our performance in OOC... those were even higher even with the loads and loads of injuries that we had faced... we were still winning games... playing well and looking like a team that could win the conference title and get to the NCAA tournament... But now we are 1-3 in conference and on a 3 game losing streak...... what now... we are playing like CRAP... with no heart and with no intensity... We do not have much time to right the ship... We have 3 winnable games coming up.... We must get them all and get our swagger back... I do not know what is going on in the LU Basketball family but someone has to take the leadership role and lead this team back.... We went through a spell like this last year and the team had the character and heart to pull out an amazing feet reeling off 11 wins in like 13 games... Can this team do it ..... Who knows... if they do not this will be one of the most disappointing season in Cardinal land in a long time...

We are starting suck horribly.... We are playing flat with no heart... I just do not get it... I am getting frustrated... I left with 10 minutes left in the game...

I am not sure... They probably lost quite a bit of money due to lost tax revenue.... due to the down turn in the economy...

16,000 woo that's alot, : No Kidding COOP 16k is not that much... But My lord... they have a 1.5 Million dollar deficit.... they have a ton of cuts to make. I am sure all non essential programs are getting cut or less funding.

I agree Dawkins will play, but we will see a whole lot of Mahoney... He did a decent job last game... very few turn overs.... CUSTER MUST HAVE A BETTER GAME.... GET FOCUSED MY BOY

Well... I am not sure that a school district can run a deficit budget... I believe they have to live with the money that they are being given.. All that I can say is that I would vote those fools all out and start over.... I am all for taking care of the kids.. Why cant they cut some administration jobs... just one would be able to cover the whole busing program...

I am not angry... I wish that we could offer transportation...do not get me wrong.. But as we have seen with everything in this government we wait until it is a catastrophe to fix things... then we have to do drastic things.. and cutting transportation to athletic practice and events is the most logical cuts... I know that it is effecting a lot of people but when we keep electing the same ol crap into office nothing changes.... It has been happening far to long around here... We have some of the worst school boards that I have ever seen in this area.. BISD, PAISD, and WO Cove ISD... And these folks on these boards keep getting elected... Will the board change in WO Cove ISD... I sure hope so that is the only way we are going to get change. ... But will they be able to bring back this busing program... maybe not once they see the figures and budget shortfalls...

Well, proactivity is not something our government is good at. .. This is exactly what happens when you rely on the government to do something that the parents should be doing... People need to take responsibility for their own.... IT IS THAT SIMPLE... GOVT IS NOT GOOD AT BEING PROACTIVE...

IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT THAT THEY HAVE TO CUT BECAUSE OF A DEFICIT.... ATHLETICS IS NOT A NEED IN AN ACADEMIC INSTITUTION.... ACADEMICS MATTER THEY WERE RIGHT....

Athletics and transportation to and from practices are not required of academic institutions... If you do not want to lose this service the citizens must pay for it... IE raise taxes to overcome that 2 million dollar deficit... PUT UP OR SHUT UP..

Ashton has been a let down all year... I think Skylar is more athletic and with more playing time will be a great player... I think Ashton is a decent player but has never shown that he can be much more than that... I had high expectations as most people on the board did... I want to see sustained intensity... He showed played well in the first half... I think it was his best playing of the year but he is not consistent.... We will have him for 1 more year and hopefully he can turn the fire on.

I had to wait for a bit before I put this together. I was pretty pissed off because of our performance.. So here are my thoughts.. We started strong again and then faded.. We jumped out to a lead then we let our foot off the gas... You can really tell that Dawkins is struggling... I hope that he can get back to himself... if not we are going to continue to struggle.. I think that Skylar Williams should be starting over Ashton Hall. HALL NEEDS TO START PLAYING WITH SOME BALLS!! Hall is weak with the ball and lacks intensity.. He turned the ball over 2 times and ruined 2 different runs that we were making... We left their point guards open way to much and that killed us.. they hit a ton of three's. This goes back to KD being just a bit off. WHATS UP WITH CUSTER... GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR butt finally, Roc was completely right to get that tech.. The refs were horrible.. Skylar was slammed to the floor and they did not call a foul... McNeese was in bonus at the 12:00 minute mark of the second half and they were not even called for a fouls at that point... WE NEED TO LEAVE THE SLC I HATE PLAYING THESE LOW CLASS TEAMS WITH LOW CLASS REFS IN THIS LOW CLASS CONFERENCE AND LOSING BECAUSE OF THE CRAPPY OFFICIATING... That is all
