I don't know about Nederland but the Purple Native Americans should be glad this was just a scrimmage. A real game would have gotten very ugly for them.

92 & 93 West Brook teams were ridiculously good! 10-0 two years in a row. Top 10 in the state both years. Lost in the 1st round of the playoffs both years. Only coaching got in their way.

It makes no sense at all. They have been doing strength and conditioning since the August 24th, practicing with helmets on since Monday, and planned on scrimmaging Channelview next weekend. Which are all against the UIL timeline if they want to change that game to a scrimmage.

Sounds like a good defensive end to me. lol...

Story? That's exactly what happened. I'm a West Brook fan. We just went to get our football fix. I couldn't care any less who would win. Jasper jumped out on Silsbee. But Silsbee had regained complete control of the game.

It was 4th and 9 for Jasper and they were going to punt. Silsbee was about to get the ball back with good field position, three plus minutes on the clock, and having scored touchdowns on their last two possessions. It would have been a safe bet.

Silsbee was clearly in control of that game at the time of the stoppage and more than likely would have taken the lead before halftime.

So you agree with Candace Owens statements on Hitler? Cause you can't discredit George Floyd with her statements about him and not agree with what she said about Hitler. And as far as his criminal past, should we go back in history and pull up the criminal past of every hero? I mean we could start with those traitorous cowards from the confederacy that have been made into heroes. Hell they have schools, streets, buildings, statues, and museums for those bastards.

What about the 89% of whites that are killed by other whites each year? No one ever says anything about white on white crime. You want to know why? Cause that statement is just made to try and discredit and distract from a real problem. The fact is black on black crime is the same as white on white, asian on asian crime, or hispanic on hispanic crime. Its crime! And, the perpetrators are more times than not sent to prison for committing those crimes. Its only the police that break the law, kill an unarmed person, and get a paid vacation. If you can't see the difference then that's by choice. There is definitely a problem with policing in this country. Being a policeman is a job that comes with a set of rules. All we are asking is that they follow the damn rules. And when the officer doesn't, he should be held accountable like in any other profession.

They looked dangerous in predistrict. They couldn't hurt a fly once district started. They were senior heavy, with a very weak JV team. We'll have to see what in store for them with the drop down to 5A.
