In three games against the Jags he looked anything but "MVP" like. Not knocking the kid or his game. I saw him in three games and he wasn't able to lead his team to victory in any of those. He looked really average in those games I saw. Including one where E'torrian dominated him in the post down the stretch to secure the win for Central. You know like MVPs do!
 2.
If there had been a ref that would have called all the fouls he committed there might have been a different story.  He pushed and pulled on him unmercifully.  When Weisbrod got the ball, he was quickly double or tripled teamed and i saw the game.  The same guy did not guard him all night, they switched out.

I don't know whether Weisbrod was MVP or not but the coaches thought so.  They all knew who they needed to stop when they played against Nederland.  How many teams used more that one man to guard him?  The teams that beat him used a holding, mauling, pushing defense against him rotating their players against him and the refs allowed the mauling.  He was mauled in ways they don't permit in college or pro on a continuous, complete game basis.
There was a sophomore from Beaumont Central that made him look real average.  ;)

So in all three games against Central,it was the officiating keeping him from playing like a MVP?
Whose the running back? Did he play varsity this year? Who will probably be the quarterback(s)?
R. Randle, I think is his name. He started the year off on JV but, was too good and got moved up. I don't think he saw much action on Varsity. At one point they had him rotating in at WR.

Now I can get back to pulling for my Bruins. This basketball season had me nauseous going to all those Central games with all that maroon... Lol Business as usual now Soulja.  ;D
Now, if I can get you to wear a Central shirt during the football season.... 8)
If I didn't wear on during basketball season, then you know there's no way in hell I'm wearing one during football season! Lol

 6.
Also, maybe two Central players were nominated for MVP. One of them being Pearson the other Wileridge. It was CLEAR that they were New Comer AND Defensive MVP respectively. Maybe some coaches saw that as clear cut and did not want to vote for the same player for 2 different awards?? Just a possibility. The more I think about the recipients of the awards, it makes more sense. There will always be controversy in All-District selections. Always have been.
Good point. I can see that being the case.
There was a sophomore from Beaumont Central that made him look real average.  ;)
No. A Junior (Garrison mostly) covered him man. As soon as he got past him, Wileridge stepped in. Central played a triangle on English and Weisbrod, bc coach Lee knew that one player could not stop either of them. Apparently you didn't watch the game(s).
Actually I watched Central beat them all three games. Including the game where the "MVP" was held to five points! And the game in Nederland where E'torrion dominated the "MVP" down the stretch to secure the win for the Jags! Like I said he looked average.  ;)

I look for the Bulldogs to have a gameplan in place to pick then apart.  This jag has faith in you.
Central lost cause their two best players didn't assert themselves and were too passive! This is a really evenly matched game between Georgetown and Nederland. Both teams run their systems well. I would give Georgetown a slight advantage with #5 and #11. English #10 for the Bulldogs needs a big game for Nederland to advance.

Mind you I predicted that no 20-4A team would make it to regionals this year although Ozen might make it because they should beat Crosby...and also predicted that central would lose due to the the fact that they'd get out coached.
What would Ozen and 20-4a have to do to prove to you that they are NOT weak in your eyes?  Think carefully, because you already have  NO credibility on the football forums...
If they win a game in regionals I'd be impressed for this team...you have to be real soulja Ozen hasnt played a good opponent yet in the playoffs be real Elgin, Crosby? Be serious those teams are average at best
Didn't both of those teams win their districts?
Nope, he won 7 rings with THREE different teams...and was only a starter with the Rockets (his first 2) while gaining those...Steve Kerr has three also...Does that make him better than Lebron? No...But Kobe being the focal point of all 5....Thats what Jordan was talking about.
Shaq was MVP on the first three. Wouldn't that make him the focal point? Not knocking Kobe but, Shaq was a beast during those first three championships. Kobe was the man on only two of his five championships.

 24.
This is suspicious to me that Nelson being let go comes the same time they are interviewing coaches for the Central job. It is like they decided we like this guy and we like this guy so let's hire them both- one for Central and one for Ozen. Also this does not seem like a Saveat move. I would be shocked if Pat Lambert was not the one behind this. She is supt of secondary schools now and has been known to clash with football coaches.
I'm sitting here wondering how Hattie Mae Pierce's big arse got the position she has. The woman is a moron and clearly out of touch... ***MOD EDIT***
 25. Dallas Madison would be a great matchup for Yates. Maybe they'll both make to Austin.
