  1. What rock have you been hiding under? The last four years West Brook has been the best football team in Southeast Texas. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but Coach Stump has built a program at West Brook. You need to get out and see the size and talent the Bruins have coming up. No team in the area will touch West Brook anytime soon. heck you better go get a team from Houston or Dallas cause the little teams in this area would get crushed.
  2. I have a lot of respect for WOS and their program's history. But West Brook is way too strong this year. The Mustangs would get run right off the field. You might want to go and look at what the WOS fans were posting on this website after the Dayton/WOS scrimmage. All were talking about Dayton being too good and a stronger team, well what do you think the Bruins would do the Pony Express then?
  3. 1. Central - No team in this district will be able to stop their running attack. The speed of their defense will get them through district undefeated. 2. PNG - Will scape up enough defense to get the second spot. 3. Ozen - Should get second with the athletes they have, but coaching staff still haven't learned to manage a game or utilize their talent. 4. Nederland, Vidor, Lumberton, Livingston - Toss up, Vidor is playing inspired. Nederland has offense, but defense couldn't keep a turtle from rushing for a 100 yards. Lumberton trying to build a program. Livingston lost to some team called Bellville whom I never heard of.
  4. NOBODY on this list could be Brook... Get over mid county, they could not compete. Lumberton is not on this level. They would beat Dayton by at leats two touchdowns. WOS doesn't even belong on the field with the Brook. Earlwick.. Give it a rest, Michaels is as good as advertised. They have a three year starting QB. The best overall player in the are (Garrett). One of the best if not the best coaching staffs. The defense is still better than most in this area out side of Dayton. And, the best WR core in the area. Okay, lets compare that to a mid-county school....PNG. Three year starting qb.......check UnderArmour All American running back.......check Good coaching staff.......check Good aggressive defense......check Not saying PNG would win, because I dont believe that......and we will never find out anyways.....but the 30 point thing is ridiculous. Png did what they had to do against Crosby.....think they kind found themselves and what they are going to be about in the second half this year..........they were not just hanging in there with Crosby the last two quarters. Dude PNG would get beat 70-0 by West Brook. You must be drinking some of that purple stuff Big Moe sings about if you think you can compare Josh Wright to Christine Micheal. That's like comparing a Bentley Phantom to a Honda Accord. Plus I would take blows of Ozen and Central over squeaking by Barbers Hill and Crosby any day.
  5. We would do to WOS what Dayton did to them in the scrimmage only worse. We would do to Dayton what Friendswood did to them the other night only worse. As for PNG, they have beaten West Brook in their history and that not going to change. Like I said no team on this list would come within 30 points of beating the Bruins.
  6. No team on this list would come within 30 points of beating West Brook.
  7. dude it was a joke, everyone knows that there will be a MCM game even if they have to play it in another city.
  8. Well maybe if it wasn't a district game. ;D
  9. I love this hire. Seems like they are really trying to get the local community excited about Lamar football. They should have a leg up on local recruiting.
  10. You are saying the same stuff Ozen people said. First of all only one player plays both ways and that's J. Garrett. He plays DB and WR/RB. You can try and build Memorial up all you want but the fact is they are horrible this year. The only player on defense they have is Hines at LB. He's a beast, but can't do it by himself. Hell I watched PNG move the ball consistently on PAM in their scrimmage. West Brook's defense is a lot stronger than Memorial's. Other than two years ago when the WB QB played with a hurt leg WB has pretty much handled Central since Stump has been there. 35-7, 17-14, 34-17; This year with what Stump says is his strongest team: WB 42 Central 10
  11. West Brook's defense is more disciplined than Memorial's. Your Veer option attack will not work as much as it did on the Titans. Once Central falls behind in the score, the Jags will be forced to pass which is not their strong suit. Just like Passing wasn't FB Clements strong suit, huh? ;D ;D I say, Bombs away. Anything goes! I was trying to remember, Who did Central lose to in the playoffs last year? Oh and with 75 total yards of passing against PAM, I doubt it will be any bombs away!
  12. : : ... We have a WBfinest... :-\ :-\ Not at all, I'm just curious to the fact that the Central fans come on here saying that Central will score 20+ points on West Brook and last week they only put up 10. Silly post like those show that there are a lot of Centralfinest posters on here. ;D ;D ;D

  14. Central only scored 10 on Memorial, they are not going to score more than that on West Brook. West Brook 42 Central 10
  15. Well I think Ozen has what it takes to beat Memorial. The RB J. White will lead Ozen to a 21-7 win. As long as Ozen takes care of the ball they will be fine. I see a long season for PAM.
  16. garret did not have 4 ints........ No Garrett had 2, Gatlin had 1, Reed had 1, and Broussard had 1
  17. Yep, I would look for Ozen's RB James White to have a field day on this district and be the offensive MVP.
  18. I was @Ozen's practice Tuesday and I was glad to see their freshmen numbers were up. Looks like around 40-50. Did you see the same thing Yeo??? Yeah their numbers are up and they have some nice skills players. The lines need work and it doesn't help that Andre (the basketball coach) Boutte is the head freshman football coach. Go figure. ??? Well all hands on deck. They lost 2 coaches(maybe more) so that makes Andre have to put on his football hat. I wish I could volunteer and help but I can't commit because I work those 12 hrs. heck, we have 3 WB coaches at the plant now plus I don't know how many Stump's brother took with him to BC so BISD is short all over for coaches Yeah, but in football you can't stall. There is a play clock. ;D

  20. WB fresh 30 Ozen fresh 8 WB JV 21 Ozen JV 18
  21. That's what the West Brook defense should tell Willie everytime they hit him. You aint gettin no love! No love!
  22. Ryan Clark from Ozen is at Texas Tech playing Safety, Wallace Franklin from Ozen is at Iowa St. playing WR.
  23. You can count me in. I bleed bruin blue.
  24. Heck yea!!! it was that lufkin's defense was bad they just didnt want to tackle CM........friday he'll be on the field with plenty of guys who's ready to knock em out Dude you are talking out the side of your neck. Ozen wish they had the Lufkin size and speed on defense. Here is a portion of the 5Atexasfootball write up on Lufkins defense: A highlight of this Panther team is the defensive line. Lufkin has the country’s top defensive line prospect returning in senior DL Jamarcus McFarland (6’3 280). McFarland’s helped anchor the line since his sophomore season and earned district Defensive MVP honors last fall. Senior Shaquille Teal (5’9 260) also earned all-district honors last year. Senior Germad Reed (6’1 220) rounds out the experience on what will be a formidable line. The secondary is also experienced. Senior Demarquez Freeman (5’10 170), senior Ka’Landus Phillips (5’8 190) and junior Carrington Byndom (6’0 175) earned all-district recognition in 2007. Byndom was one of just three sophomores on varsity. And you say Ozen's defense is better than Lufkin's. from what i seen on this film today yes ozen's defense is way better......and i am talking about the size of CM and ozen's LB's Ozen's best defensive player was 3rd team all district, Lufkin's defense has 5 1st team all district players. We will see friday when West Brook is BEATING Ozen.
