My money is on Chavis. neither one of them impressed me this year and i can guarantee you texas wasnt a school that offered him but neway let me give you an example of how texas is better then........lets go by the players that texas gets and the players that a&m gets.............in the class of 09 texas gets players like garret gilbert arguably the best qb in the state of texas and ranked number 12 in the nation, thomas ashcraft, chris waley the best running back in the state of texas, greg timmons ranked 69 in the nation...........a&m doesnt have a verbal from one player one the rivals top 100 players in the class 09 they get all of texas leftovers thats why texas was able to get dravannti from a&m when he was commited there its a no brainer if texas offered the same kid that a&m did the player would pick texas hands down the university of texas is way better then a&m in every aspect Isn't C. Michael in the rivals top 100? Wasn't Texas trying to get him? Didn't he commit to A&M? Mack Brown was a better recruiter than that suck butt coach A&M had. Weather that trend remains with A&M's new coach has yet to be seen. Oh and last year when Mack Brown came to Beaumont for Ozen's Ben Wells LOI, he stopped at West Brook to visit with Blake Chavis. I would agree with you if the Woodlands actually competed in those games, but the got their asses whipped. The Woodlands are on the decline, and the game will be closer than you think.

The Woodlands won 3 games last year. They were also at the wrong end of some big blowouts. They may win, but it will not be by 2 or 3 touchdowns. I'm think this game will be alot closer.

I was in attendance with my boys mime group and it was a really good game.

All of Clements big plays came on 3rd and long and 4th and long. Hell the 64 yard pass play to set up the winning TD was on 4th down. We stop them 3 downs, then line up stupid on 4th down, and Clements picks up a 1st down. Oh and I talked to a coach today at church and his sentiments are exactly the same as mine. Giving up 22 points in the 4th quarter, up by 2 scores with 7 minutes to go in the game and lose is on the coaches. He also said West Brook would have a different DB coach next year.

The kids played fine. You cant be up by two scores have the team in a 4th and long and line your defense up like it was 4th and inches. Our coaches had our defense lined up Cornerbacks nose to nose with the WR and the Safeties 7 yards deep on every 3rd and long and every 4th and long. Peewee league coaches wouldnt have called defense like this. Sorry but this loss is on the coaches period. Our defensive staff blow it big time.

The players didnt ease off, it was our dumb ass defensive coaching staff. Playing all those 4th and longs like they were 4th and inches. I can take losing, just not when the coaches blow it for the kids. It really pisses me off.

As long as they dont cover the spread by dumping the entire secondary into the multiple WR side, our defense should be fine. They did this the whole game Saturday and it cost them 28 points.

Damn, you would think we lost if you look at some of these post. Our offense pretty much scored at will and our defense played opportunistic. They got it done when they needed to. Clements QB doesnt pose nearly the threat that SoHo's QB did. If we stop their running game we win period. Milton Howell is a hell of an athlete and he made plays to keep his team in the game.

Ozen has no business anywhere near this tournament. It proves nothing and Ozen already has two easy games against PNG.

PNG did what they were suppose to do. Wore them down with the run and mixed in a little pass. Like a said great job tonight and good luck next week.

Well Proud PNG, McGaffie had WRs running open and refused to pass the ball. On the zone read option he never gave the ball to the RB even though the entire defense played him. The coach called a horrible game offensively. On every 3rd and long he called a flair pass play to the slot WR that lost yards. On 4th and 1, down 20 to 0, in the 4th quarter GP's coaches decide to punt. Galena Park's coaching staff sucks.
