John Curtis, ranked national and probably the top program in Louisana got beat by Longview a couple weeks back. Kelly, a private school smoked Sulphur another top ranked school in Louisana. I dont know about pretty even. Plus Louisana is not even getting beat by the top schools like Katy and South Lake, they are losing to Kelly. booyah

I wouldnt let whipping a Louisana team go to my head if I were you. This is Texas football here. West Brook would run Kelly's ass off the field. I think several teams on this list would beat Sulphur just as bad if not worst than your mighty Bulldogs. It was a great win for your program, but lets not get it twisted. We all know Louisana's brand of football is on a lower level than Texas.

I didnt say Central wasnt up for Lumberton, I said that Central would be more fired up to play West Brook. Its like Mid-County Maddness, do you think PNG kids are as fired up for every team as they are to play against Nederland?

Another thing is that Central vs West Brook is a rivalry game. The kids all know each other, some went to middle school together and I am willing to bet that Central does not get up for Lumberton like they get up for West Brook. Im pretty sure the Central defense has extra bounce in their step when its time to go against the WB offense.

This game will be over at half time like Atascocita and Kingwood. Subs will get plenty of reps this week.

We will be in PA next week to disprove your theory. The balance of our offense makes it better than last years. The speed of our defense makes it better than last years. And the fact that we had those let downs last year against Channelview and Humble has taught this years Bruins the lesson of playing hard every week. Our team is not overrated, if anything they are flying under the radar to everyone but southeast texas.

I think its both, WB is pretty good and the district is weak.

After realignment, I heard Lumberton is scheduling the Texans in week 0, The Saints in week 1, and the Cowboys in week 2. In week 3 the Raiders plan on taking the trip up to Austin to take on the Longhorns. The word is their defense is going to be so good that they will not give up a score all year.

Damn with 1 loss Central is tied with Dayton and PNG doesnt have a loss yet. So it is way too early to match up that playoff bracket.

I think that he's a good guy and may be the right man for the job, but is he the right coach for the job? When I watch them play Livingston, it seem like the Pirates only had one good running play and the passing game was horrible. I just dont think Vidor is big and physical enough this year to make the veer offense work. A great coach once said its the players that make the X's and O's not the X's and O's making the players.

As far as preparing for two RBs, there are only a couple formations where both Micheal and Williams are in the game at the same time. Most of the formations are either or, so WB's game plan doesnt change drastically.

Not only Garrett, but Grant is a very capable WR. The Bruins also have the Soph #88 who has very good speed.

What shed are you talking about? The one Central took you guys behind or the one Strake did? Hell you squeaked by Clear Creek and beat the two worst teams in the district and now you consider them this strong team. That 7 on 7 offense doesnt work when you play a defense that hits.
