  1. I believe Prieto did it that way. His offense was starting to become predictable.
  2. Sounds like you got hate in your blood. We had one kid go down with a broken collarbone at King. I seem to remember more of them needing help off the field than ours. Besides that we’re always more physical than FBM. They have a history of shrinking when the game gets physical i.e against BH and PNG in the playoffs. Might want to check out Levi Fontenot knocking their D1 DB damn near out the camera frame.
  3. Crosby would have blown out FBM if Dunn ankle wasn’t bad.
  4. Hammers got a case of the dropsies. If he gets that fixed it will be a big help to Crosby’s offense.
  5. Folks were wondering how this kid has so many D1 offers . I believe yall need to put some respects on young Wes Yarbrough name.
  6. I’m guessing these families are moving from the city?
  7. Where are all the people coming from? Humble about to build another MS that will feed SC. BH, Crosby, Dayton all hitting a growth spirt at the same time? Sheesh
  8. Nobody’s happy about those kids being injured. Sux for Herndon and Malone for sure because those kids are uber talented and this is their Sr yr. Hopefully Davis can get back soon as well.
  9. They playing it close to the chest I guess
  10. Believe Wes was injured against BH could be wrong.
  11. The question should be why is Levi not rated as he should be. He looks the part, got it on tape, measurables and academics. All I can say is that the scouts are asleep at the wheel. Lil cuz will definitely put them on notice once again this year. Good lord say the same and he stays healthy all year, expect big thangs from number 14 this yr.
  12. I agree. However in the case of Crosby these hires either already had success in their previous positions or come with stellar resumes. Craig Williams for example 1st yr RB coach, Baylor grad all Big 12 academic played under Matt Rhule. Who wouldn’t want that on their sidelines?
  13. More like he’s bringing back culture to town. Man has hired or promoted more coaches from the community than any other coach in Crosby history. For that alone he’s got my support.
  14. Post your guys (names and pos) that could be seeing the field on Saturday’s.
  15. A head scratcher. That 8th grade team last year was packed football and bball.
  16. Whether yall admit it or not 14.2 keeps this thing interesting. 😂Perhaps BH and Crosby relations will improve now that the head coaches are former colleagues. Maybe some of those unsportsmanlike penalties that caused their field to get stomped on won’t be an issue. Anywho I think I speak for all of us, that have witnessed this yrs team in person, this team definitely looks different physically. Never a good sign when other teams DL looks bigger than your OL. That won’t be the case this yr. Remains to be seen tho if these big cats can actually play. I’d imagine the entire district will be better because of how competitive it was last. That only serves to help our teams in the playoffs against these tough region two teams
  17. Pretty much. Music playing over loud speakers all practice
  18. Participation needs to come up. Nice turnout to Summer workouts. But I’m still trying to figure how Rio had more football players with a smaller enrollment. This years team will be leaps and bounds better than last years team. But I’d imagine the whole district got better as well. Time will tell.
  19. Chilli cheese nachos with Jalapeños. Every game is a must for me. Heartburn on the way home but still love it since I was a kid.
  20. The “Cougarettes” will probably end up in a state cheerleading competition. But the mighty Crosby Cougars will be just fine. Kids are working their tails off this summer. Something about being underdogs makes Crosby more dangerous historically.
