[/quote] Nederland probably has the most room of any high school field around.  Covered stands as well as room all the way down both foul lines.  I would expect 3,000+ fans at these games.  Not many local high schools have that kind of capacity, so get there early if you want a seat. Robinson started out the year 27-0 and were ranked #1 most of the year.  They have come back down to earth lately, losing their 2 warmup games and the first game against Mexia this weekend. OF has there work cut out for them, but by no means is Robinson unbeatable.  It should be a good series.  Good Luck Bobcats!

[/quote] I keep hearing that excuse.  Nederland played at Rice last year when they were in the Super Regional at LSU.  Redshirts took care of the field, which at Lamar would involve raking a little small area on the mound. Lamar would be the ideal place to have these games.  Hopefully someone can figure out a way to make it happen.
