Game today at 5 on ESPNU Predictions?

We have had quite a few early signees in the area this year.  There are still some very good ball players out there that can play at the next level.  I have talked to a few JUCO coaches that were interested in getting names of local players. Use this thread to name some kids that may want give college baseball a shot.  Maybe we can help get some of these kids in school.  Any info you can give will help.

Sounds like you have some experience :D [/quote] Nope never tried them, but I do know alot of people who have and have worked out with those people.  When I get tired, they can keep going alot longer.  My point was that alot of people say it adds 5 feet, 10 feet to the ball flight or whatever.  I think its bigger benefit is that these guys endurance levels were greatly elevated during the time they were using, which led them to being fresher and in peak shape all season long.

[/quote] Steroids don't necessarily make you stronger, they help your muscles recover after being torn down by lifting.  Which in turn helps you get stronger, because you are fresh every day.  MLB is a grind, playing 162 games in 185 days will take a toll on the body. Steroids helped these guys show up to the park every day feeling fresh and ready to go. I imagine if you can show up to work everyday feeling your best, then you will be more successfull in whatever you do, especially sports.

IMO he could pitch at any college in the country.  ULL is getting a great player and a better kid.

I think he means pre-season rankings are nice, but now you have to prove it on the field.

[/quote] I agree, but I wouldn't say by far with no doubt.  Kane Benoit(PN-G & Lamar), Shane Waddell(LC-M), Logan Johnson(HF) will all pitch in college. That's not including Jace Statum(OF) and Reggie(WB) that can both get it done on the mound, but will most likely play outfield in college. This area is blessed with a lot of talent on the mound this year,  it should be a great year to be a baseball fan.

UT now leads by 11.  The defense looks alot better in the 2nd half.

Game tied at half. Pretty good game so far, the Arkansas guards are giving the Horns fits.
