  1. Good job by the NCAA of scheduling all 5 games today at the same time. I guess they have never been accused of being smart.
  2. Starts tonight Any locals expecting to get their names called?
  3. The SEC is 23-5 so far in Regionals with a chance to get 8 teams in the Supers. For those that are math challenged, 8 would be half of the 16 teams left and a new record for one conference. Luckily for you SEC haters, the NCAA put the all of the SEC teams on 1 side of the bracket to avoid hearing everyone whine about another all SEC CWS Final. I’m not sure how this is overrated, but if it makes you feel better to think that then go ahead..... • 21 Remain 8 SEC (Florida–Ole Miss–Arkansas*–UGa Auburn*–Vanderbilt*–SC–Miss St) 3 Big 12 (Texas Tech*–Texas*–Okla.) 2 Pac12 (Ore St*–Wash*) 2 ACC (UNC*–Duke) 1: ASun/Stetson* B1G/Minnesota* BW/Fullerton* CUSA/FAU CAA/UNCW OVC/Tenn. Tech * in Super-Reg./5 TBD
  4. so the regional hosts that have zipped thru their regional W-W-W: 2. Oregon State 4. Arkansas 6. North Carolina 9. Tech 11. Stetson 13. Texas 14. Minnesota and 3 others are on track to do so, but currently delayed by weather: 1. Florida 5. Ole Miss 8. Georgia then the #2 or #3 seeds that cruised thru their regional W-W-W: Auburn Fullerton Vanderbilt Washington and South Carolina is on track also. so very, very little game 7 (if necessary) drama this year. Only the Tallahassee regional (OU vs. State) is going the distance so far.
  5. Has anyone ever seen the ball boy throw the ball directly to the pitcher by-passing the ump? I think that’s the 1st three times I’ve ever seen that done, and it all happened in the bottom of the 9th with 2 strikes & 2 outs.
  6. Texas wins 3-2 to advance to the Supers
  7. Shug with a friendly zone on 2 of those strikes. 2 outs
  8. Shugart into close. Bases loaded, 1 out bot 9 Texas leads 3-2
  9. LSU eliminated by the Beavers. There will be a lot of hotel rooms open tomorrow.
  10. Short fence in left then a great play by the 3rd baseman, keeps Texas lead at 3-2 going to the 9th
  11. I have a room at Harrah’s too if you want it.
  12. Turf baseball fields should be against the law
  13. The ACC has had a rough go in Regionals so far
  14. What are you talking about? Texas was the #1 seed, Indiana #2, & A&M was #3
  15. It was 109 degrees on the field. The smart people were in the shade
  16. Indiana wins 9-7. A&M had chances to score the last few innings. The 9 run 1st inning was killer.
  17. 9-0 Indiana before A&M has even got to bat
  18. Ags are getting smoked by Indiana. 6-0 Indiana still hitting bottom 1
  19. Florida St coach Mike Martin is the all time win leader in College Baseball. He should really be questioned after what he did to his pitcher yesterday. The kid had thrown 109 pitches going 8 innings of shutout baseball before a 2.5 hour rain delay. Martin trotted him back out there to give up a 3 run walk off homer. Crazy to do that to a kid.
  20. Glad I missed that one. I should catch the 2pm game
  21. Ags vs Texas at 6pm on ESPN2
  22. if this is true, the NCAA is a joke. [Hidden Content]
  23. at-large teams with the worst RPI's: #63 Washington and #45 Houston
  24. Kentucky got left out with RPI of 30. They have more Top 50 wins than some host have played. LSU sent to Oregon St. Stetson got a joke of a Regional. Okie Lt got rewarded for a choke job to finish the season. All of the SEC National Seeds are on the same side of the CWS bracket. I guess they don’t want an all SEC Final again. A&M is the only team in the tourney with a sub .500 conference record. They would have likely been left out without their run in the SEC tourney. This committee did a pretty brutal job. Lots of head scratchers
  25. Austin Regional 1. Texas 2. Indiana 3. Texas A&M 4. Texas Southern i’m on a ship. Y’all keep me updated.
