Florida St coach Mike Martin is the all time win leader in College Baseball. He should really be questioned after what he did to his pitcher yesterday. The kid had thrown 109 pitches going 8 innings of shutout baseball before a 2.5 hour rain delay. Martin trotted him back out there to give up a 3 run walk off homer. Crazy to do that to a kid.

Kentucky got left out with RPI of 30. They have more Top 50 wins than some host have played. LSU sent to Oregon St. Stetson got a joke of a Regional. Okie Lt got rewarded for a choke job to finish the season. All of the SEC National Seeds are on the same side of the CWS bracket. I guess they don’t want an all SEC Final again. A&M is the only team in the tourney with a sub .500 conference record. They would have likely been left out without their run in the SEC tourney. This committee did a pretty brutal job. Lots of head scratchers

Kansas has studs? This isn’t basketball Texas’s resume isn’t great compared to other schools in the running to host. We will see how much weight the committee gives winning conference.

Baylor is one of the hottest teams in the country and I believe they have played themselves in by winning 20 of their last 23 games. On the opposite note, OK Lt has lost 9 out of their last 10 and will probably be watching from home. Texas’s RPI is down to 22 which is a stretch for a host. Let’s see how much the committee values a regular season conference title.

Ags choked away a win against #2 Florida in the 7th. 2 errors that would have ended the game, then bases loaded walks to tie and win the game. Brutal. Florida wins 5-4

Decent win tonight over the guy that will be drafted #1 overall in a few weeks. Ags advance to the semis with a 4-2 win over Auburn.
