I realize basketball(I guess I should say sports in general) isn’t really Lumberton’s thing, but if 15 students cheering for their team bothers you, then I don’t know what to say. I made the comment that the atmosphere in the Dog Dome has really gone downhill in the last 20 years. That place used to be rocking every Friday night. Just be glad you never walked into the Beehive in the 80’s & 90’s. I can’t imagine how much you would have cried when you left that place.

My question is- Why should people that live in liberal run states with high State taxes get to write that off, and pay less to the federal government than I do in Texas? I was hoping this was an article from the Onion, but I think it’s real life. I wouldn’t want to be a waiter in California and risk going to jail over a straw. Calderon, the Democratic majority leader in California's lower house, has introduced a bill to stop sit-down restaurants from offering customers straws with their beverages unless they specifically request one.
