One internet tin foil hat theory that kinda actually makes some sense is the shooters job. The jobs he had made a decent living, but nothing spectacular. Real estate investing can be very profitable but hard to believe enough to gamble $30k a day. He owned 2 planes and was a licensed pilot. Owned real estate and gambled a ton, which are both ways criminals wash their money. Was he running drugs/guns in those planes? Or was he just that good of a gambler that he always won?
