Landry finished strong with birdies on 13, 17, & 18. He shot 71 this morning and is now -3 on the tournament. He's right in the mix going into the final 2 rounds.
I'm listening on the radio. I thought this was pretty great
Golf announcer talking about a downhill putt.
"It's so fast, I don't know how he can possibly control this. It's like trying to control 2 yr old quadruplets with a birthday cake"
Landry bogied #7 & #8 to drop to -3. He still has a 1 shot lead when play was rained out for the day on his last hole of the day. He started his round on hole #10.
He has a birdie put on 9 if the weather would ever let up.
The course is going to be brutal from what's being reported. It's almost not fun to watch when the golfers can't even make shots. Look for over par to win
#8 is playing as a 288 yard par 3
#12 is a 684 yard Par 5 which is the longest in major history.
The Tulane coach would be a good hire. He's not as big of a name as fans want, but he is very good. Rumors are that he is the front runner for the Alabama job.
