Crazy finish NC State lead Coastal Carolina 5-3 in Game 7 in the Top of the 9th. Carolina loaded the bases with 1 out before the game was rained out and scheduled to finish today. Coastal scored 4 in the Top of 9 and held NC State to win 7-5 and advance to the Supers. Coastal will get the LSU/Rice winner that is scheduled to play at 4pm today.

Tech advances to the Supers and will host ECU.

SEC Network at 8 ESPN isn't doing very well with these broadcast. Louisvile is up 15-0 in the 6th and they won't change it to a better game. The bases loaded thing on watch ESPN is pretty good where they switch between games but it's online only.

Vandy is getting hammered by Xavier 15-1 in the 7th. I feel for Vandy with what they are going through with the death of their pitcher yesterday. They don't even look like they want to be there. It's tough to watch.

I originally posted this in the pro sports forum, but moved it down here to get some opinions. Has any athlete ever made as much of a difference socially as Ali? How do the older people view him? Hero or draft dodger? I'm a huge boxing fan. I grew up after Ali, but loved watching his old videos. I didn't know or care much about his political views growing up, but I always loved him as a boxer and performer. To me he will always be the greatest and I miss when boxing was actually a legit sport.
