Tech's best receiver suspended, 3 others transfer. Sparq Warrior Mike Mitchell sure has been a bust after dominating camps and heading to Ohio St. [Hidden Content]

I didn't see anything said that wasn't true. I know you preach the same to your kids, I know I do. I really like Nick Banks btw. He's a legit 5 tool guy that will get a lot of pub at the top of the MLB draft this spring

Ags are 8-4 and the sky is falling tu is 5-7 and happy. They sent the Calvery to beg a mid major co-OC of a 6-6 team to be their new OC even though he's never called plays. That should work out well.

LSU admits in court to changing Chavis's contract after he signed it, then sued him for it?!? Pay that man his money. [Hidden Content]

Supposed to be but I haven't seen it. If you do any traveling to big cities, Uber is definitely the way to go. Way better and cheaper than cabs.

Don't get shot in Chicago. You are missing out by not attending the pregame festivities. At schools like ND, that would be the coolest part of the trip.

A&M's campus is big but I wouldn't say it was one of the nicer campus's in the country. Ole Miss was nice as well as Vandy. I'll check out Bama next year. I like old buildings and architecture. We just can't build things the way they used to especially on a budget. I would like to visit those Ivy League schools in the fall and check out some 300 yr old buildings with some history behind them.

MenuESPNLOG INSCORESFAVORITESNEWSNOW Sam Khan Jr.ESPN Staff Writer Here's an interesting component to watch in the Kyler Murray transfer: will he be released from his NLI? If not, he loses a year of eligibility. The National Letter of Intent rules state that if a player is not released from his NLI and transfers before completing an academic year (two semesters or three quarters) the player loses a year. Meaning Murray, after sitting out a season, would have only two years left to play, not three. Sha

Hopefully the coach at Kyler's next stop will guarantee him enough playing time to satisfy his daddy.

Next man up. Good luck Jake! Please don't get hurt!

Has Chip ever been right about anything?

Those are the 2 names that keep getting brought up. Also they will go after a graduate transfer like Trevor Knight to get someone in school for spring ball. If Kyler is gone, Hubanek will be the only scholarship QB on the roster for spring practice. His arm might fall off throwing a few thousand passes a day if he's the only QB.

Every player transfers after the season is complete including bowls. This year with Knight, Allen, and maybe Murray is the first time I remember players leaving before the season is complete. The Knight transfer is the craziest. He is one hit on Mayfield from having a chance to lead his team to a national championship. How can he leave before the playoff and miss out on that chance?
-
Sumlin is trying to get Kyler to stay through the bowl game and give him a little time to make some changes with the staff. Spav is done. If Kyler likes the way things look, then he stays, if not he's gone.
-
According to Looch, Kyler was planning on transferring for the last few months. When Allen pulled the trigger first it confused him and now he's rethinking things.

His team interviews just got a lot tougher.

A good buddy of mine is a cop in Nacogdoches and he was working an event for them tonight. One of the coaches told him their safety went to recruiting weekend last week and Daylon Mack told him not to go to A&M and head to TCU. That's never good when current players are telling the #1 safety and #15 ranked player overall in the entire country not to come to their school.
-
I think you are correct in all of that.
-
So if he left now could he play baseball next year at a new school? Or would he just lose a year of baseball? In football he would have 4 years to play 3. Not sure about baseball

From Sumlin's presser after practice today Sumlin on Murray "I expect him to be back out here tomorrow." Sumlin: Murray is going through some personal things. Won't go into specifics about what they've discussed. Sumlin: Want to wish Kyle Allen the best. Family made decision they thought was best. They don't agree with it, but decision they made Sumlin on evaluating coaches: ongoing process that goes on through year and the bowl game KS- "I don't know that the QB situation had been mismanaged. From where we stand right now, one guy right now has asked for a release." Sumlin: "I was a little bit" surprised on Kyle Allen's decision to transfer KS- "I've been evaluating our staff all along, but the year goes through the bowl game. We've struggled at times, but that's on me." Sumlin: "if there's anyone to blame that's me" - on offensive struggles 4KS- "At the end of the year, we'll take a look at the whole body of work and make decisions then." Kevin Sumlin says Kyler Murray isn't feeling well and is going through some things, so Sumlin told him not to attend practice today. Sumlin: didn't agree with Allen's decision to transfer and surprised by the timing before bowl game. Sumlin said he expects Kyler to start the bowl game.

Any clue how transfers work for 2 sport guys? Could Kyler leave now and play baseball for someone else this year? I don't think he can, but I haven't seen a definite answer.

Academic Buildings named after Grand Dragon's seems pretty tolerant. -

Kyler is at practice supposedly. Not sure what that means
