Fox, I agree. Coach Davis did a great job at Lumberton. I don't know a coach at Deweyville that should have any reason to have that job. Who? That would be such a slap in the face to those kids and program.

Lumberton is losing every coach on the staff except 2 coaches, that in itself is going to make it difficult to compete. Nederland, PNG,Central, PAM. Top of this district.

I hate to say it, because it needs to be settled on the field, but a couple of pages back I had LCM in a flip of the coin. Should have played Wednesday, was the best day to play because of the weather.

So when it rains out Thursday and Friday, graduation Saturday. I am betting on Coach Griffith to advance the Bears on the old coin toss.

Congrats to Jack. Have watched him play a few times, great competitor that is a winner. Have passed his name on to a number of people for them to keep an eye on. Gets it honest from a great family.

Best program in the area. That is a great accomplishment in a very tough district year in and year out.
