All good liltex. Just don't believe in excuses. "We had injuries" - Injuries happen. "They hired the wrong coach" - A program is not just the coach and the athletes. It's the community, the school board, the parents, school administration. To say They picked the wrong coach is the equivalent of saying the coach called the wrong plays or the kid ran the wrong route. All of the variables listed above are important. Crosby could make lots of excuses for years of losing to Dayton. Some prob do. I hope I never do. Dayton had a superior program. Period. I am personally proud of the close wins vs Dayton Bc I still believe Dayton is a top notch program. If we win in triple overtime this year I will be very happy with the win. And when we lose to Dayton again (it will happen one day) I will tip my hat to the Broncos and start counting the days to the next Hey 90 rivalry. Good luck Broncos on every night but Oct 21.

We earned our L's and earned our W's. No excuses here. No blaming "the wrong coach" for years of losses to Dayton. Dayton simply had a better program than Crosby. But we'll keep listening to your excuses and explanations about how your losses were close.

Personally think the whole debate is ridiculous. WOS is the class of SETX. Does that mean they'd beat all SETX teams regardless of classification, No. But they are the best vs the schools in their classification. This is no different for dogging on Crosby's Semi-Final run a couple of years back Bc it was in D2. We were D2. WOS is 4A. Get over it. Again, WOS is the class of SETX. Our program is headed in the right direction but we are not in WOS's league. That doesn't mean we are not trying like heck to get there.

I'm excited about Soph QB #7. He's looking great. BUT. He's not ready for Friday Night lights yet. Especially vs Manvel. He's going to be a great one. Just not yet imo

I really don't know where to put Crosby. Real game I think Crosby beats Nederland by 2-3 touchdowns. However, Cougars looked awful in controlled scrimmage. But when it went live you saw the speed come out. Code Red will win lots of games. Not sure yet if this team is good... Or special. Excited for the ride.
