I agree. Top 3 in district between PNG, PAM, and Central are gonna be hard to knock off. I see a pretty good fight for 4th spot between us, Nederland, and maybe vidor depending on how they look.

The experience will help. Plus everyone should be used to Babin's system by now. On a side note, I heard Aaron Credeur has transferred to Lumberton. And I'm assuming he will be coaching which would be really good!!

I'd say keep it the way it is, and let the people keep complaining about the polls and thinking they can do a better job. Or if you do open it up to the fans, maybe keep it strictly for this site only. I wouldn't send it in to the news station until you see how it plays out.

Don't think vidor and Nederland will finish ahead of central.

Top of the district is one thing, y'all should be shooting a little higher than that though! Can't go the distance without a strong defense.

After 3 state championships this year, I would say us east of the trinity are no longer inferior to those west of the trinity congrats to WOS, Silsbee, and PNG!!! Way to rep SETX!!

People like that thrive on attention. Quit giving attention to the absurd comments and the problem will eventually go away. If it doesn't have anything to do with Dayton, or the topic at hand, I would simply ignore it.

The only thing I didn't like about the assistants statement and the points he made was that they were already things that the public knew. When I read it I was hoping for some better "insider" information into what was really going on... to me it was just a recap of what the media is already saying.

None of the above. I wasn't, nor have I ever claimed to be, some star football player.... but luckily this thread is not about me.

Actually that year I was a freshmen, good try though.

We had a complete team, almost every position was good, or at least above average. Our problem has always been not having good talent all around. We usually have a few good players but not the supporting cast around them. That year we had it all. i sure hated practicing against them every single day!!

Sorry for getting off topic, I'll get back on.. no matter what the broncos (or raiders) do this year, at least we know Bronco94 will have pride in where he lives and who he supports. With that being said, I still think broncos will have a tough fight to get back into the playoffs. Barbers Hill will be much improved from last year I think, and Crosby is crosby. That leaves a fight for the last two spots.

I'll admit if I'm wrong, I promise I'll be the first one. But jv talent doesn't always translate. if they were so good then why weren't they staters last year on such a poor varsity team? most teams are playing their jv on 7 on 7 from what I've read, so y'all are basically just beating a bunch of underclassmen.

Did you see the jv talent that's coming up though??
