All around great post. Every play is designed to score a touchdown, and it always comes down to missed blocks or blown assignments. And yes fumbles hurt!

Probably won't be much talk here. I'm curious to see how Coach Babin decides to play this. No doubt in my mind that he is going for the win, but I think Ward should get a lot of carries along with sophomore qb getting some looks too. We're fairly young offensively and losing majority of starters defensively this year, so anything we can do to prepare for next year can help. For any Lumberton parents reading this, it takes more than two years to build a winning program!!

Coach smith knows what he is doing, he's a smart man. He's got good athletes on defense and they are getting better every week. Could have almost been a shut out against Navasota from what I hear. Offense can make deep runs, but DEFENSE wins championships... just ask WOS. And yes, i know they have a high caliber offense as well. But let's not forget they "only" scored 22 points in the State Championship game last year. To Silsbee fans 22 points is a poor offensive performance, to them it meant a nice big ring!

El Campo had no passing game last year and came very close to beating Silsbee. My point is this: you DONT need a better passing game. Would it help? Of course! But what you need is a good run game along with a strong defense. Which seems to what coach is building on.

Take away the fumbled snap that led to a PAM touchdown and PNG would have been up at least 7-0 at halftime, and could have won the game.. so that goes both ways man
