Hmm, well I stand corrected then. I apologize. Last year at the time we played PNG I had never heard of him, then later on in the year when I started seeing his name more I would think back to our game, and I do distinctly remember a few dropped passes, a couple being touchdowns by PNG which could have made the score a lot worse.. I wrongly associated those with him, could have sworn it was him, but like I said at the time I didn't know who he was so I was trying to go off memory... BTW that comment wasn't an attempt to talk trash or down him. I did see the scrimmage against WOS this year, and I believe he had one or two drops. Assuming I was watching the right player this time too lol but like I said, he has all the size to do good. I didn't see him miss any against GCM so that's good!

Saw several Silsbee tiger players putting a lot of work in during offseason and summer as I went to softball/baseball games.. I wouldn't say he is the only one doing it.

If what your saying is true (which I doubt you would lie about that), then I have a lot of respect for him. Sounds like a hard worker! Usually people with natural talent don't work hard, but when your blessed with talent like him with a work ethic to go along with it, that's what's gonna make him great. I wish him a lot of luck except this week lol

What other talent is there in his grade and freshmen.. If y'all have upcoming talent along with him getting better with experience, might be dangerous the next two years!!

Thanks for the history lesson. The "decent d" reference was because we have 9 returning starters, so basically the same defense that put a stop to Vidor's infamous run game last year, and we did the same thing that yall did to Calvin Tyler last year, except he played with a dual threat qb that was actually utilized. Everyone on this site knows that the play calling from Silsbee was horrible that night, if they would have let Jones run/throw more it may have been a much closer game. Now, you are 100% correct that we do not have Calvin Tyler running out of the back field. But when he puts 180 yards on yall with a line that has been labeled as "soft" by many people, then ill take our chances with a very physical offensive line... Or can I say that since we haven't played a game yet? I've seen both teams scrimmage, and ive been both teams against a very weak opponent. Do I believe that we can win? Certainly. Will it happen? Nobody knows till Friday night.

Won't be any excuses from me.. If yall win, all you'll hear from me is a congratulations and good luck on the rest of the year. I believe this is a good Lumberton team that your facing, even though nobody else seems to believe it. So if yall win that just makes you better.. Plain and simple.

Ok, I just have a hard time believing GCM could beat HF with the 4 plays they called on offense all night against PNG. You can call me delirious all you want, I just don't see them being able to do anything with that offense... But I have been wrong before

I noticed that Thursday night on his long td run.. He was almost jogging as he came up on the safety, then kicked it in gear and broke the kids ankles lol he's patient as well

Probably doesn't mean much from me, but he didn't impress me very much last year against us. Several dropped passes. But that was one game. Like you said, it's still early so we will see how they plan on gettin him more involved. He's got the size to be dominant that's for sure
