No it's not, they had to move our scrimmage this Friday to Silsbee. "Supposed" to be done by first preseason game. I think they are just waiting on the track to be completed

Atmosphere at WOS was pretty neat. My first time to attend a midnight practice, so it was a cool experience.

They were practicing in their grey under armour pants today, so that may be true.

I've been to 2 of our practices, yesterday and today.. Believe it or not, we actually have some good size on the o-line. Got another guy as big as Helms was last year. That was my concern coming into this year. Qb looks pretty good as well, and Upshaw looks to have gained some size. We may not be as bad as what everyone thinks, but of course won't know that until we start playing.

All the defense needs is a little discipline, and the new coach has already brought plenty of that!

They've been doing several different formations at practice.. And they will actually be going under center pretty often from the looks of it.

Heck this may be vidor's year! They may sweep the whole district. Honestly, I think coach Matthews deserves it, and I would like to see coach credeur successful as well.. I've got a lot of respect for that man!!

Yes, supposed to be ready by this Saturday (the field), and as long as the track is done then we will be able to scrimmage Silsbee on it next week. As of now that is the plan.

I don't think we're sleeping on Vidor. We know how dangerous their running game can be. But don't forget who held them to (I think) the least amount of yards last year in district. Lumberton is good against teams like Vidor. And unless their defense got a lot better then I don't see Vidor having a chance of stopping PAM

You've got ozen finishing before Lumberton? I understand we lost our whole back field, but didn't they lose theirs as well? Along with the head coach? and our starting running back this year got a lot of looks last year as well.

Silsbee is pretty loaded as well.. they won't get run out, that's for sure!

What time is their second practice?

And if Silsbee beats them, would they be your pick to win it all?

I thought the rankings were based off of how good the team is projected to be, not necessarily how many games they will win?

While it is a similar situation, the fact still remains that the Silsbee situation was 8 years ago. Doesn't have anything to do with the athletes we are taking about. What's happening at Baylor is recent, it's happening now! And you keep wanting to say how it's just part of life, well part of life is growing up and doing what you think is right regardless of the consequences.

Based off what I saw last year, they can't look too much worse on defense! Lack of discipline which seems like what the new AD is already bringing.. You can get by with a little lack of discipline on offense with good talent, because you have the ball, you control things. But on defense, all the talent means nothing with no discipline. If they can get that in line, we may be watching Silsbee play next December in Dallas! Hopefully!
