Wrong again. Players didn’t execute in the first half. Here’s a list of mistakes only in the first half that took potential points off the board- a high snap on our first drive when we had moved the ball all the way down to the 30 yard line, a missed field goal following that bad break, another high snap on our third drive after we had scored a td the drive before and it killed our drive again, and a costly 10 yard sack taken by our young qb. So did the coaches not gameplan right, or did the players just simply not execute? And btw, I’m not making excuses for the loss, I’m just trying to show everybody that the gameplan was fine. The 24-7 deficit we faced was NOT becuase of poor coaching.

I agree with you that we have to execute. That loss was on the team, not the coaching staff.

And there’s nothing wrong with speaking the truth and saying something negative about coaching because they are human and will mess up, but whenever you create an account just for that reason.... that’s the issue I have with hater 23

I love watching Carthage play, and there wouldn’t be any shame in losing to the eventual state champs.

This game is very meaningful. Seeding is very important. But you are on an island on this site, not many LCM posters to keep the conversation going.... plus we all know who’s gonna win anyway

We recently were warned for one poster calling another poster a loser. Within a short amount of time on another thread one of the Mods called someone a loser. I called him out on it and I’ll be honest I got kinda aggravated with the response that i got. So you know what I did? I took a deep breath, got over it, and moved on with life. Why? Because i love this site and I don’t wanna be the one to add extra drama. We’re all adults here (mostly) so we need to try to act like. Mods have special privileges, but they also have to put up with a bunch of crap at times and monitor who knows how many posts a day.

Here’s all you need to know- how many Quirantes are on Vidor? If the answer is 0, then don’t get your hopes too high. Seriously, your telling me that y’all have talent this year? If so, it must have moved in because there’s never really a lot of talent in Vidor, same as Lumberton. It is what it is, and Coach Matthews gets more out the talent (or lack thereof) than most people would.

So this is my first year to not see Vidor multiple times considering we aren’t in the same district. But i did see them scrimmage Silsbee and they looked like the worst Vidor team I’ve seen in years. They had 3. Then they have three tough losses in a row in district, 2 of those losses being to very good teams (Crosby was still good at that point.) so it seems like they have been doing good and could have easily went 3-0 to start district if they would have made one defensive stop.

I like the hometown guy because he has more pride in our town.
