What’s up Hater 23... actually we didn’t know till early this year that we would move down to 4A. I got an idea, why don’t we fire Babin, hire you as head coach, and I’ll go ahead and buy my tickets to Dallas next year. Sound good to you?

I think we can have a chance if we can build momentum and motivation while in 4A. 3 years ago we made the playoffs in 5A. 2 years ago we were pretty close if we wouldn’t have lost to Livingston in the last minutes and we had central beat but blocked the wrong person on the 2 point conversion that would have gave us the win. We lost by 1 point. If i remember correctly, we win those two games and we were in the playoffs again. So we competed in 5A with the exception of Nederland and PNG. Heck we even almost pulled the upset over PAM last year. We had all the momentum until a lightning delay, came out after that dead. That’s on us though. I think we can stay relevant, and every few years we’ll get another Hussey, Hanna, Beard, or Rhodes from 2015 that will put us over the edge.

Can’t be content with that this close to the playoffs. I’ve said it before and I stand by this statement: the Silsbee tigers are way better than what they are looking like on Friday nights.

That’s all I was trying to say too Icon. He just worded it better. We are by no means a wos or newton, not do I expect us to be.

Ok. We’ll go read what they are saying. Even they seen a change the past few years. But your typically a Raider hater judging by your posts on our threads so i don’t expect you to see that.

In the Silsbee and HJ game it seemed like they had to have a 2 minute conference on every flag. It was horrible lol I think the refs lead the time of possession in that game! BUT, it’s a job that i wouldn’t wanna do so I can’t throw too many stones.

Splendora is the DC and they earned it, but just like everybody was saying at the beginning there is no clear best team in the district. We may be a weak district compared to the rest of the state, but we are pretty evenly matched which has made for some exciting football each week except two (Livingston and BC)

Lol yeah y’all beat us good. But you’ll have to prove that was y’all and not wos players who beat us jk, but seriously it should be a hard fought game this week. Just by comparing common opponents I would give us the edge. But we all know that’s not a good way to evaluate things. Let’s just hope we both stay injury free for the playoffs.

It’s only the next morning. And if you read my long post you would see where I ended it saying “Rant over. Onto LCM” Congrats to Splendora on the DC!

To two of the better teams in district we were down 24-7 in he second half. The “same ole Lumberton” would have bowed down and took the beating. Instead, we win one game by seven and only lose the other by 4. Same Lumberton right?

I was. But just because there is a culture change doesn’t mean instant success when playing teams like PNG and Nederland. And no you’re wrong, it’s not the “same Lumberton”. Just ask anybody in the old 22-5A if we’re the same pushovers.

Nothing has ever been worse than the Silsbee/HJ game a few weeks ago. I was embarrassed for the officials lol

Crosby has been so confusing this year, and I know all the controversy has hurt them. But look at this team pre-controversy.. they beat a powerhouse in manvel. Then come out against a down wos team and almost slip up and lose that one. If my memory is correct wos had a lead in the first half. Then they barely squeak past Vidor. This is all while being state ranked. IMO, if you take away all the controversy and give Crosby their qb back, Nederland still takes this win tonight.

Sound alike Vidor’s defense is the problem. But I’m sure people will be calling for Matthews head and griping about the offense he runs after averaging almost 36 points a game.

Didn’t wos have a player ejected? And another unsportsmanlike later in the game? Oh yeah, but Liberty played dirty. Seems like that went both ways last night.

The guy never replies. He stated that Splendora would easily beat Lumberton and i asked him why... nothing. And obviously he was wrong because it went down to the final seconds. Youll never get an answer out of him.

I remember that senior year beating. Y’all had a lot of emotions on yalls sideline that game, and it was a close game at halftime. And I guarantee at halftime in the locker room y’all traded jerseys with wos (who was standing on yalls sidelines) and they are the ones who put the whooping on us lol anyway, y’all haven’t played us since 2013. You’ll see a different team this year.
