True on both teams. Seems like wos defense played normal chain gang defense, just outplayed in second half.

I have interest I Silsbee because my in laws live there and because I have a sister who is a Silsbee cheerleader. So I will end up going to more Silsbee games than Lumberton when it’s all said and done this year. And the frustrations I have with Silsbee are the same ones that i hear in the stands every week. So you can think I’m an outside hater but I’m not, I promise. I actually root for Silsbee, just think play calling should be better and defense could definitely be better. Also, I don’t think your fans should settle for subpar performance like “this is how we always start our”. Silsbee is better than that!!

When your ranked as high as y’all were to begin the season (#4?), and all the hype is about Silsbee making a run at a championship, and on top of that defense is supposed to be yalls strong point, then I think at some point that tradition has to be changed. Can’t keep giving up 100 points in two games.

This game reminds me of 2 years ago when wos had one of the most dominant teams in history. A very good Silsbee team came to town and everybody swore that Silsbee had a chance. It ended up being 51-2. Not because Silsbee sucked, but because wos was just that good. I think wos is good this year, but I just think Newton is on another level until proven otherwise. Call me a hater if you want, but I’ve been to 3 state championship games in a row supporting wos. I am by no means a hater, just a realist. I agree with Soulja, this game could turn into a multiple td game in favor of Newton. I can see Newton holding wos to 12-14 points.

RJ has stated he will be back soon. I would give them the 2nd or 3rd spot with him.. can’t ever predict Mid County Madness, but that will be the determining factor.

I agree, and it’s a fact that y’all have beat them... i just think the “scared to play us” argument is a little misused.

Come on Soulja you know they weren’t scared to play Silsbee. You know exactly why they took Silsbee off the schedule so let’s just leave it alone... and let’s also not forget that Jasper was right in the game and could have won had the qb not been knocked out of the game.
