I’ve never seen so much hate towards a team. All because PNG beat PAM last year. RJ should continue playing high school ball, and he will be a qb at UT next year and I think he’ll do pretty good (he will have a VERY GOOD running back from Carthage to keep the pressure off of him).
PNG will be fine, no y’all probably won’t win state, but you’ll be alright.
However, i would be a lot more worried about Crosby after last night lol
It’s a waste of talent that isn’t being utilized correctly imo.. I know newton is a beast, but if Silsbee is as good as what some fans were saying they are, as a coach you’ve gotta put up a better fight than that. It’s ok to get beat by newton, but you can’t be beat this bad.
I’d like to see WOS make it a good game, but it feels like Newton is rolling this year and won’t be stopped very easily. One thing is for sure, we’ll know a lot more about wos’s chances of making it back to Dallas after this game.
Injuries everywhere! But all of them should be back by district, except for the qb. We’ll hear more about him next week. He was up walking though so I’m sure he’s fine. Just didn’t need him in this game.
Nice, you were wrong on two things in this post: your prediction, and your assessment of Jasper. They aren’t average, they are actually a good team this year.
I think the answer was...
newton is really that good
kirbyville is that bad (no offense)
and I think we’ll be alright. We were down a starting safety, starting running back, starting receiver, and our qb left the game on the first drive after a long run. I was pleased with what i saw despite all of that. And all of those things I mentioned is why I answered the second question the way I did. Kirbyville had a chance to make it a game since we were so littered with injuries, but they couldn’t.
Gotta go out there and play the game regardless of weather conditions... no excuses in football. Wet field may make a fast team slower, but it also makes a slow team slower as well.
