Exactly, maybe it’s the talent. Or the culture of the town. Kinda hard to blame the coach whenever he’s one of the best in the state, but God forbid we actually blame the kids!

It all depends on how the players rebound after last week. If they are hanging their heads or pointing fingers then it could get ugly. If they come out United with one another then it can be a good game.

I don’t see anybody getting past that giant

We had three starters out to start the game last week, and lost our running back early in the game, and still kept it close for a half with a pretty good Jasper team.. im just hoping to get back healthy and ready for district.

If you’ve got two qbs you have none.... stick with one and build the offense around him. Allow him to make mistakes and grow.

I’ll be the first to admit that after the Silsbee scrimmage I thought Vidor was in a bind his year, but that’s why you don’t look too much into scrimmages.

Lol so one sustained drive. What surprised me the most is when they were clearly going to lose the game in the second half but they still didn’t pass the ball... that was the perfect time to get some reps in in the passing game.

Nobody will. And I’ve been lookin forward to the Newton vs wos game for months, now I don’t even think that game is gonna be close. Newton is on another level. Reminds me of the wos team from two years ago.

Silsbee had one big play on the first drive that was a td, and another huge run for a touchdown against png. Those were their only scores. I don’t see those big plays happening against newton defense which means Silsbee will have to figure out a way to sustain drives and move the ball. I don’t know how much newton will pass the ball, but they will have a lot of success if they do.
