From what I’m told the “score” is worse than it actually was. We did have a pick six against us and we threw another int. we had 230 yards of offense and 12 first downs. They had 92 yards of offense and 4 first downs.... those numbers are from the live half we played. Not sure about the controlled part. They had one big pass across the middle that went for 50 yards, which made up a huge chunk of their total yardage. I know everybody is reading “Lumberton lost to OF” and are freaking out, I’m not too worried about it. Scrimmages are good for film, but a bad look for fans. Next week will give all of us better insight into our teams.

Who is the coach at BC now?

I wouldn’t take too much from scrimmages. Give it at least two weeks of real games then we’ll see.

Both teams will score, but I think PNG is set up to score quicker. So I would have to give a slight edge to PNG... but it will be interesting to see how both teams do in their first real action.

Lumberton Football Facebook page posted just yesterday that we scrimmage y’all and Nederland... but that could have changed throughout the day

My prediction: nobody will win the scrimmage

A very good scrimmage for both teams. Vidor will run the same style offense that Silsbee will see a few times in district, and Silsbee’s speed will get Vidor ready for their district.

As do I. I guess time will tell.

I’ve also heard that there aren’t any transfers, and that numbers are low even on the varsity level.

I plan on watching them against Silsbee and Crosby... maybe Newton. And of course if they make it to Dallas I’ll be there

I only say that based off of what I read on here.. other than that I don’t know how y’all will be this year. I am excited to see though!!

Not a far fetched assumption at all considering WOS is “down” this year. But I will say that Silsbee seems to have a lot of wrinkles to iron out as well.
