Vidor is not as bad as what the PAM makes them seem. I’m not sure what happened to Vidor last week, and I’m not trying to take anything away from PAM because they outright whooped them, but Vidor is better than that butt kicking.

Not really. Just stating that they are the most balanced team in our district. Not the best on offense or defense, but a good solid overall team. However, I will admit that i was completely wrong about MCM. I thought Nederland didn’t stand a chance against PNG offense only because of how good they have been, boy was I wrong!!!

I think it’s tough to rank them. PNG is obviously the best offense, PAM and Nederland both have good defenses but the edge would probably go to PAM based off of the speed. I think Nederland is the best overall team though.

That was what made our victory so sweet against Lamarque in 2007. They came out grabbing their “you know what’s” at our fans. Defensing champs thinking they were gonna run over poor little ole Lumberton.

To my knowledge, the real coin toss is done prior to the teams coming out by the field house. Then the one done at midfield is just a “re-enactment”. Not sure why though

Season tickets for Lumberton are $18 each I think. Don’t quote me on that, but my plan is next year to buy a season ticket at the beginning of football to PNG/Nederland (wherever the game will be played) and not have to worry about getting a ticket the week of the game. As a HS football fan, I think it would be a neat experience to witness the best rivalry in Texas!
