Since Babin has taken over I think it would be a different story. I’m not gonna go out on a limb like the other guy and say we win it every year, but it wouldn’t be out of the question for sure! I think us, y’all, BC, and Silsbee would make for a pretty even, tight race each year.

Won’t happen, it would take us consistently making the playoffs, and even contending for DCs here and there to quiet people down.

Even if ozen moved down it still would not be a walk in the park for them. Based off of those 5 teams, this year and last year ozen still would miss playoffs.

According to defensive team stats they really aren’t that horrible. You’ve got to take info consideration that the offense scores so quickly and easily, which means the defense is on the field more. No participation trophies are given out in high school football. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been playing/starting before varsity, the better players will play. Don’t like it? Work harder, get better, and beat the younger guy in front of you out!

He did throw that in there about his son, but he made it very clear that this site is useless and just a bunch of mediocre teams congratulating each other. He also said that he wanted his account deleted, so I don’t think anybody is running him off. Sounds like he is doing it to himself.

I agree with AAW... posting a defensive highlight in a game where you gave up this many points is like claiming a moral victory... “we got our tails kicked but look at this big hits guys!” Most of us are not as impressed with big plays as we are with consistent fundamentals being executed.
