With Newton being in the same boat? Or Silsbee getting back on track?
-
I hope your right! But just keep in mind Newton was in the same boat. Let's hope the tigers can get things going though!

*wednesday night lights lol
-
Lol that sounds like a perfect idea, I don't think it would get approved though
-
So, as Stattrax said, the disciplined team will win lol

If you'll go back and read ALL my comments you'll know I wasn't knocking Collins. yes I'll admit rereading my first comment that it does sound like I was saying Lowe can throw but Collins cannot. However, I thought I made that very clear that that wasn't what i meant, the wording was just wrong. Now, let me rephrase it to make it more clear: this has nothing to do with Collins, because the kid DOES have a very good arm and accurate. And this has nothing to do with the outcome of this game, I believe Newton was the better team regardless. Silsbee has always thrived with a dual threat qb, and with a weak offensive line I think (no im not an expert) a pocket passer is only as good as the blocking her receives. If you line Tre Lowe up in the backfield beside Adonis then I believe they could make more happen because of Tre's legs, and yes he can throw too ( which is what I meant by the original comment that got misunderstood) At the end of the day, I'm not a coach. And I'm also human, so I apologize if I ruffled anyone's feathers or appeared to be speaking down on a kid who is doing the best he can.

Let me clarify, when I said "who can actually throw the ball", I was not meaning that Collins can't throw the ball. That comment was meant for Lowe, everyone talks about his speed but from what I've seen in practice he can actually throw pretty good as well. That's what I meant, and probably could have worded it more clearly. Not a knock on Collins at all,
-
No no not that at all. That's not what I meant, just that Lowe is a huge threat running the ball. And silsbee has always thrived with a dual threat qb.
-
My wife is from silsbee too... I'm still working on her lol
-
I would put Lowe at qb. He actually can throw pretty well but his legs would be a good threat.
-
If you say so lol

It's not a short week because we don't have a game until then. And you'll see a good rb in Lumberton too. Thanks for the underlying snide comments about a community that has suffered loss just like everyone else. Just remember, there's more to life than football. Still picking raiders to win though.

An honest opinion is always respected.

Besides one obnoxious HF fan, I will say this for the rest of the team/community: HF looks good this year. Ride your running back all year and you'll be alright. He is very good! Defense will get better once you can actually gameplan and anticipate what the other team is gonna do. Seems like Coach Jehling is making things happen over there. Keep it up!!

shootout is to be expected considering the circumstances. I expect the Raiders to be a lot more prepared for PNG than hamshire fannet obviously. As will PNG. In my opinion this will be the first actual "real game" that either team has played, real game meaning film has been watched and gameplan prepared which makes all the difference. Because I'm a youth pastor I won't be able to make this game on a Wednesday night, but I'll be rooting for my raiders to shock the world and take this game by a td.... now cue statrax! Lol
-
You've been know to be wrong before....
-
I hate that this game is on a Wednesday!!
-
I'm sure jasper, just like Crosby, isn't "clicking" yet either.. so don't get too excited

Conway td run, 37-23 9:24 left in game

Another 65 yard td run for ward called back for a obvious but useless block in the back.
-
HF has a good running back
-
Ward for 65 yards.. 30-17
