Last time I brought it to the attention of the side gate people, near the visitors entrance gate, that I just wanted to drop off someone by the gate who was in a wheelchair & then I would go park elsewhere, I was told by a not so pleasant women with a Vidor Police Officer standing next to her to "...move that car now, or I'll have it moved for you." I obliged & parked at the back of the parking field, having to push my friend's wife all the way from the car to the stands. As I passed the two lovely individuals who had spoken to me earlier, they had their backs turned to me. However, I could not resist yelling out, "I appreciate all the help officer, you too M'aam." I still love the atmosphere at Vidor. I am sure these two individuals are not representative of all of the people in Vidor. I have some very good friends there.

Indians face Indians in Indian Stadium as Indians get victory over Indians!π -
May God bring healing & peace to himself, his family, friends & loved ones!

If their QB is fast at all, or if he is able to hand it to a running back, who is fast enough to get outside, in any way, then TC will move the ball on PNG. Indians only hope is to get quick short passes off prior to the TC defense sitting in the backfield. Play as well as humanly possible, trust the outcome!

Speaking of trash in ditches...Wait a minute! Why are we speaking of trash in ditches? This is a football site. Let's talk about players/games/pumping up those boys in the field & coaches on the sideline. Nothing will keep me from pulling for my Indians, not ever "trash" talk! HaHaHa!π

Always welcomed at the Reservation, remember to wear that purple!π

If PNG can run the football, we have a pathway to victory, If we are forced to go strictly to a passing game, it will be a hard night for my Indians. Crosby Defense is tough. PNG Offense better be 100% on their game. I am looking forward to this Friday night!!!

I have family that works at a discount store that thinks he's a therapist. I offer his services to anyone who is not a PNG Indian fan. As for a therapist, I will continue to take my problems to God in prayer. π π Have a great week!

Well, let's see, PNG at home, for the toughest team in the district. (That's where Indian fans want it.) Homecoming night for increased excitement. (Sounds good.) I see now, Crosby is so dominant, and considers the PNG team so inferior, there is no chance of an Indian victory. Keep on believing that Cougars. Heck, don't even bother practicing for us, it's pointless. Just look right past that silly old Indian team. Keep that focus all week Cougars, please!ππ See you on the field!

Raiders are for real this year. I think they will edge out HH for the win. Defense will make the difference which ever team wins! Should be a great game.

Let's run that ball over & over. Practice that run blocking. We will need to be able to run the ball effectively every game, the rest of the district. -

Headline:π Purple Pride Pulverizes Park with a Perpetual Pounding of the Pigskin (aka) PNG over Kingwood Park by running the ball repeatedly. -
I have been through great seasons & teams, as well as flat out bad seasons & teams in my 56 years of attending PNG football. I believe this Indian team has a long way to go to improve & be competitive. That said, it will not all happen this year. Unless Barbers Hill plays an off game, even if PNG executes it's offense well, the Eagles have the advantage. I hope for a solid, competitive game with no injuries. Always have faith in my Indians to find a way to win. Looking forward to this game.π

I will be one PNG Indian coming to Lumberton Friday night. I am coming to see my nephew play for the Raiders. Will be wearing a bright red shirt & pulling for those Raiders to give their all!!! Lee will be fast! Raiders must chew up yards & the clock & keep the ball away from the Lee offense!

Port Neches Groves Indians at Tomball Cougars

Defense for PNG will need to play at their best Friday night against this Tomball offense. Defense will be key for both teams in this game. -

PNG Center has got to work out the problems with the snaps. There were actually 16 errant snaps tonight, either off to the side or right at the ground. The quarterback did an amazing job of just trying to control the snaps. You can't tell me in the school the size of PNG that we can't find someone who can snap the ball consistently to the quarterback. Just paint a target on the wall, at the right distance, and have the center snap the ball again and again and again so he's hitting that target every time. Every time you miss the target you run a lap, that way when you get tired you can still snap the ball because you're used to it. I have no problem with the center's blocking, but you have to get the ball to the QB first & primarily. These errant snaps are going to hurt us bad as the season progresses. -
Beaumont United Timberwolves vs Port Neches-Groves Indians

Soulja anyone can be an honorary Indian. just wear purple on the outside & bleed purple on the inside, if you are pulling for my PNG boys. Sorry to be away so long from site. I was 10 days in the hospital & the Covid almost got me. I am now back & God is good all the time. PNG QB must execute the quick out passing that he was overthrowing last week. I think this game will be a great benefit to both teams due to the speed & execution of the two offenses. Just praying for no injuries. I will be released to go to the game on Friday. Safe travel to all! PNG has a special spirit!!! Pass it on!!! -
I vividly remember that extra point block & run back. Many PNG Fans started walking out after Central scored that touchdown. Never leave early!!! Great memories at this stadium.

Jasper at PNG, I love playing football against teams that are going all out, all the time. Those Jasper boys play hard. Always a great game to watch.

Yes, older brothers, and he has a big extended family. They are Nederland people all, except he has adapted to the Port Neches way of life where he resides. Smart, talented kids as well. One at Penn State/One at LSU & two still in PNG school system.

In Lumberton his position as Head Baseball Coach is good for him. The most important thing is he will be giving his all for that program. In Lumberton you have a successful stint as coach as long you don't ever have to be "running" for the door.π

Coach Seymour is no stranger to adversity & outside pressure from any outside forces that are at work. He is a fine Christian man. He is a former Nederland Bulldogs Baseball Player & Current Port Neches-Groves Indians Supporter with a son playing football & baseball for the Indians. All this while having coached at Hamshire-Fannett & now moving to Lumberton. He has a great knowledge of the game of baseball. He is a highly educated professional teacher. Also he is a great conveyor of baseball skills. He has a level head & sensible, but "tough as iron" personality. Coach Seymour will be able to handle what is thrown at him. His players will back him 100%, due to his devotion to any program he takes on! May God Bless His Time at Lumberton!!!βΎπ
