  1. I think he meant that it is unfortunate that the athletes individual abilities are hampered by the wet, flooded, muddy turf. Players are slowed down, unable to make good cuts & angles etc..., that is why he said we need to go early & see what the footing is like. We know there will be some slippin' & a slidin" all over the place Friday Night, but no worries. I am sure we will have some rescue boats & life preservers available for the truly wet parts of the field.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  2. I was not aware that a series of children's wading pools was "real football turf."πŸ˜‚
  3. How about we enjoy the FOOTBALL GAME without the powder there, and without you there! Sound Good! It makes me happy!
  4. Stattrax, lets use our inside voice.πŸ˜‰
  5. Right up Nederlands Alley! They have an excellent swim team, I here.
  6. Just understanding that, at some point, adults, administrators & goodness gracious, parents should know that their kids do not need to coat the stands in powder, to celebrate their team. ☺️
  7. Born & raised in Groves, TX. Attended my first football game in September, 1965 when I was 9 months old. I have missed 4 PNG football games, total, since the day I was born. There was a painting incident at Nederland High School in 1982, that I may, in some small way, have been a part of...Hmmm, but I am no transplant. I also work in the medical field & know the health risks of the pansy powder shower, I speak from experience,. I agree kids can have fun, but do it without destroying the people who are around you regarding their health & ability to enjoy the game. Once again, just a little common sense should kick-in to your minds.
  8. Love me some real football weather.
  9. You are right, speed is the wrong word, on that Nederland cow pasture, it is wallowing through the sludge, no speed involved.
  10. None of the things I did , and I do say I did, during this rivalry in the early 80s made anyone else sick, nor denied them the ability to watch the game because of that illness. The pansy powder shower does exactly that & is 100% wrong. Water guns, balloons, heck even noisemakers are better than a substance that can permanently damage your lungs. C'mon people, a little common sense & a lot more maturity is in order here.
  11. Are we talking spiritual interaction, intervention or meta-physical vs. spiritual speed, or maybe that is another discussion!πŸ˜‚
  12. Everything is in the past. last year, year before, in the past. So either all of the PNG/Nederland games count, or none of them do!
  13. Or maybe Nederland could win 15 years in a row! Wait, scratch that idea. Pardon me, my mistake, that was Port Neches-Groves that did that! NEVER MIND!!!
  14. Fair enough! I agree that you are entitled to your opinion, and I respect that.
  15. Had you been raised properly, I mean of course as an Indian Fan, you would know that the entire devoted Indian Nation from Port Neches-Groves , plays spiritually in every game. I was an honor student, by the way, I always paid attention in class!!! I am turning 55 years old, and the Nederland game on Friday night will be my 600th Port Neches-Groves Football game, that I have attended, since the day I was born. No need to worry about me. I am just worried about our players who can't swim!!!πŸ˜‚
  16. That is fine with me! Only way that affects someone outside the student section is if they throw the surfer that way.
  17. No, scared of being buried in a mudslide, or possible drowning. πŸ˜ƒ
  18. Indians should just put fishing waders on & practice football in the swimming pool. That should be similar conditions to game time.
  19. They want to see a good football game!!! The wait is worth it!!!
  20. In other words, So You Are Saying ...why not just let any kids do anything they want to at the game, no consequences, if someone in the stands gets hurt, Suck it up!!! It is just kids having fun. To heck with anyone else who may suffer because of there actions. After all those people that paid & came to watch the game do not matter at all. After all, it is not about the football game, it is only about a bunch of high school students acting like 3 year olds. Is this your argument? If it is, defend it. I will have common sense & past history reality on my side.
  21. Awesome Image, Ignorant reality!!!
  22. Now that's funny right there. not true, but hilarious. How about that scenario, in reverse!!!πŸ˜‚
  23. Please remember that this is a high school football game, not a pansy powder party. Time before last our PNG student section brought powder to the game at Nederland. The wind was blowing it right at the stands. My wife, and the woman next to me had to leave, as well as their husbands, because the ladies had a severe asthma attack from the powder residue. Baby powder is for babies. Keep it at home, and try yelling for your team, not making your own fans sick. Oh yeah, let's keep the fireworks & flares away as well. Is this statement I am making here common sense, gosh I hope so! If not, the immaturity has surely overtaken the sanity at our high school. For those who say "...these are just kids having fun..." then I say that the immaturity has moved to those adults, and parents who tolerate this behavior. NOW LETS PLAY FOOTBALL!!!
  24. Indians have feathers, so they take to the air, The doggie defense just can't get up there! PNG is aware that Bulldogs can bite, but those poor little Indian boys are up for the fight. PNG pulls away for win over Nederland!
  25. May God Heal & bless This family with Peace!
