  1. I wouldn't buy a used car from the guy. And if I had a son capable of playing at that level I wouldn't steer him towards Calipari given the other options. But if he went there I would make sure I was as knowledgeable about the whole situation, and in touch with my kid as much possible to insure they didn't blow smoke up his _ _ _, or make him feel like he was beholding to Calipari's slimy arse.
  2. I'm not a Calipari fan, but just like a High school coach is not responsible for getting a kid a scholarship Calipari's job is to win games at UK not get kids to the pros. In regards to the Harrison twins they took the wrong advice thinking they could move into the top of the draft if they waited. They should have went as Freshman when they were being hyped. Their weaknesses were exposed in year 2.
  3. I played against his New Caney teams that had Jamie on them. He was a good coach and an even better man.
  4. BS by 25 maybe 30 if they can frustrate Tenaha.
  5. Aaw we must have been typing at the same time. I agree with your overview.
  6. If BS and Tenaha meet I'd take BS by 25-30. Tenaha is pretty athletic, and their coach made really good defensive calls to keep Sabine Pass off balance especially when Sabine Pass got into foul trouble. Even though Tenaha's press is fairly effective Big Sandy's level of execution would make them pay for gambling too much.
  7. There are times when I feel bad for the kids and the coach , especially if they are just out manned. But school districts have to place a certain priority on winning. I'm not saying win at all cost, but give the program what they need AND give the coach the latitude to RUN the program his / her way.
