  1. Bailey getting hammered on that drive. No time to throw and he's still almost hitting the WRs. Looked like Nunley was held a bit on that route
  2. I think a lot of us felt LC wasn't all they were cracked up to be when they played Nederland. PNG was a much better team imo and it's showing now
  3. Maybe so, seems like it's growing over there. Kinda miss them in 5A like it use to be when they was in our district with LCM and Vidor. Good times.
  4. Crazy, well it won't be long if it stays up like it has been
  5. Speaking of numbers, Lumberton gotta be getting close to moving back up to 5A D2, seems everyone is moving there.
  6. The quitting is so bad everyone knows about it. They don't like the coaching staff and tbh it's been past time for the "run left run right and pass" calling to go. We don't have a Mosley, Raines, Kimler, Krautz or Seay to bail us out anymore. Pass the ball like a team from the 2020s not 1980. Just my .02 but if the staff is an issue they need to clean it out. Say all you want about the "kids need to toughen up" stuff. Tell it to the booster who pay for wins. Trust they won't accept that excuse. Hopefully this team stays for next year
  7. 100% I've been saying it's the natural circle of things. Nederland had their time from 2011-2015 and now it's PNGs turn. PNG wasn't all that great then but now it's swung back. It's in these times though that Nederland has a chance to start building early to have another 2012 caliber team (which imo would have went to state if the new districts were like they are today) and not playing next years 6A move up. Anyway it's facts. It'll swing back around
  8. Freshman? Wow, the program doesn't have much upperclassman
  9. Nederland, first play of the game went for 6
  10. How we missing PATS but nailing 40 yard FGs
  11. Unless Sunday becomes the 2nd coming of Carson Raines and the spirit of Colton Kimler finds its way into our WRs and MB gets some LN like play calling.....it'll be a first round exit.
  12. Could just be a changing of the times, Nederland had its cycle and now its PNGs turn. I'm sure the tide will turn again and roll over to us. PNG fans were probably saying the same things during the end of the Burnett/Faircloth era when Nederland was top dogs for a while. At least when my family was in school from 05-20 we enjoyed the wins. But I agree a new HC is needed, he's far from what Larry was even though he coached under him. Just my .02
  13. I've been hearing of a lot of dropouts in the football program. Idk what changed but we better catch it now while we can. Now I see why the admin when I was there was as strict as it was, because it would have been the downfall back then. And I went there from 05-09. Like I said I'm hoping the new school brings life back again and the culture of pride comes back to the city.
  14. Lol kinda what I was saying on the TC vs Ned thread. We act like after last years team we we're expecting a DC, I guess cause we've been use to recent success and last year kinda left us wondering how decades of culture can get destroyed in a single year (but it's possible) but our district record is a typical one for Ned and a playoff appearance is usual as well. Just kicking it back to the 05-08 squads again, let's hurry and repeat 2011-2015 please. Let's go our normal two rounds deeps and watch the state championship from the sidelines as tradition entails
  15. Who knows, TC been lowkey staying out of the way and clicking off Ws. A win would be nice as Nederland would improve to 5-2 and that wasn't expected, even with all the complaints us fans have been making it's a typical season W/L record minus the 32-0 run (not to mention a playoff appearance, we're we really expecting a DC?) but a loss would still be a huge improvement over last year. I think TC wins but when FBW smoked Dayton it still leaves me confused so....heck Nederland wins on a FG lol sounds good to me
  16. I remember that. Idk why they tripped so much, they got the punishment and moved on. Now they really paying the price. Fools.
  17. Why did they want him out?
  18. Those fights were ridiculous they had. And yes Ik what you mean by the transplants. But they get an A+ rating in education?? Please
  19. Nederland got a lot of catching up to do and not just in football. The new school should have been built in 2010 but the boomers shot it down. If I was on the Ned coaching staff I'd be worried about my job, need some fresh blood in there. Ik LN gotta be shaking his head, but that era is over. A lot alumni my age that are older enjoyed wins in MCM for many years are seeing the program go down aren't use to it. Me and my bros went to the high school from 05-20 so we're use to more MCM wins than losses. Hopefully the new school revitalizes something, we've kicked the boomers out who we're stopping progress
  20. Unless Sabine Pass had an influx of Memorial transfers imma say this score is flipped....
  21. Wow Dayton isn't just losing, their getting whipped
  22. Normally I'd say it's a lock but the way FBM been playing....
  23. We were in as of last week I believe?
  24. Starting to see what you're saying, PNG line moved earlier and nothing, then a score. What chapter they from? Cause they act like they reffing like...northside vs kipp
