Ask anyone that watches carthage if not punting if that desperation cause I promise you it's not hell we went for it countless times last year inside our own 20 .you r right when you got a oline that's mostly backups that were all under quarantine till 2 days before the game did struggle in the first half we go in halftime move some folks around and adjust and they help up alot better and Hatton had 200 yds so 50% of the offense and you qb did absolutely nothing yall had 10 first down the whole game with I know 4 came in 2nd to last possession. And your last statement just goes to show how much of a joke your coaching staff is get burned all game and don't adjust and see were playing the pass and don't even try to run just admit crosby is a joke

And as far as playing the run great or not it's called coaching maybe yall coach should take notes yall were trying to pass all night so we played defense to stop that had yall went to run heavy we would of adjusted to that as well its not like yall was running on us constantly 75% of yalls rush yards came on yalls second to last possession

I guess we shall see held yall to 200 total yards I would say that pretty good considering in your words had a qb that would make us look silly and receivers that we had no chance of keeping up with but ur right it should have been 31-7 carthage we consistently drove down the field and as far as your qb he was just fine for 3 quarters but I'm sure after taking a beating whole game he was hurting at the end point is we play up and win yall play up and get takin to the woodshed

Well I mean if they need a home and they just happen to be good at football then I'm sure carthage can make accommodations just cause we're such a giving and helping community

Prolly lol but we won state almost every year we have played yall in.last 13 r so years and those 2 were the least competitive

But the next two meetings where some of the worst games as far as being competitive last year us winning 49-0 and 2017 with us winning 64- 35 with all 64 of our pts coming in first half

Yeah that was only a 4. Pt game with carthage winning I think 34-30 but silsbee had one last shot to score but failed the next closest game was the year before a 16 pt win by carthage scoring 56 and that years offense was average at best

Yeah think 2016 the cardiac team it was think every game of playoffs that year we trailed at some point and all games were close

Maybe but that also why I said when I have seen them play other teams from our area seems to be same result

I from carthage but every game we have played them they have been blowouts and seems like every time they play a team from our area the give up alot of points

What is the deal with silsbee and there defense I don't really keep up with them much but seems like there defense is always bad

Aledo just mad cause they have to share the light and sometimes loose it with carthage they beat up on everyone in there div. Being one of biggest school in it but when they play a top rank team 2 div up they loose carthage does it but they win

Well no just speed will never do it for ya if you can't get no one blocked but once that seam did open his speed is what made it a td. Not sure bout this year but he was the fastest kid on the team last year

That speed does no good if you can't get them going in open field

I'm just saying what has been said all week yalls offense was completely shut down last night with exception of 2-3 plays like it or not those are the facts I said all week how good our d was and was constantly laughed at by all crosby supporters because either we didn't play no one or we have not seen there 5a state champ speed and and no waY our defense could compare to the 5a schools yall played think last night proved yall all wrong

You were not that bad as far as doubting talking down about carthage but bout to make 14.2 look silly here are just a few quotes from him Ok. Aledo held Crosby to their lowest point total of the season. I don’t think Carthage’s defense will be as good as Aledo’s, plus I think this Crosby offense will be better than the one Aledo held to 21 last year. Above was my justification in the original post I was responding to which was about Crosby being held to 14 points. It is a little misleading because I actually think Huntsville had the best defense we faced with those Bobino brothers but the point still remains in regards to how I view Aledo’s defense vs Carthage’s I saw them, they’re impressive against 4A squads. It’s different when those d-linemen have to chase a QB that can embarrass them and those DBs have to check some of the fastest 5A players in the state. Not overly concerned about what you bring back and if the linebacker you’re talking about is Kip Lewis he’s not even close to a 5 star. Crosby dropped 62 on Texas High who had two 4 star line backers, one of which was actually almost a 5 star. Clayton Smith finished #38 overall and three spots out of 5 star designation, Lewis is #259 overall and 228 spots out of 5 star designation.

Ours wasn't but everyone knew that side of ball was going to be a struggle with so few returnees and then covid hit to make it even worse but still was able to out gain yall 2:1

Well all of 5a d2 is prolly hoping crosby does nothing this year so they don't make them look even worse. A side note on the covid stuff all oline were in quarantine till Tuesday so the guys that did get the start were sitting at the house for a week prior till then so only had one day to prepare
