Coach Davis is a great man but even better he's a great coach!!! Another school is about to get a really good baseball coach!!!

6A baseball is a little different from 5a...you need 4-6 pitchers in 6a to win you games....lineups are little more stronger from 1-9 in 6a...

they held silsbee to 56 points that's pretty impressive!!! I will take silsbee by 12!!

I was looking at last years schedule, could be wrong but didn't silsbee beat Argyle by 4 last year??

I thought they weren't supposed to come back till January 9th? That's what the Head Coach told me but who knows.

you don't need a curve ball when you are young, maybe can get by in high school without one if you have a good change but in college you better have one that you can show. Because you need to be able to change the eye level...

He was not the best player this past weekend, the best player was Flagg, now does the other kid have more upside of being a better overall player yes he does, but from what I saw from this weekend Flagg is the better player as we speak. Now 2 years from now it could change.

he didn't handle the ball to well this past weekend when people were guarding him......no doubt he will be a good one but he wasn't the best player this past weekend in the tourney.

Really??? that's almost 16 pitches per inning......110 pitches isn't a lot of unless its the first month of the season!!! Kids are throwing 80-100 pitches (Select Baseball) right now in October and the season doesn't even start until 4 months... [Hidden Content]

there is a reason why baseball is only played in high school from Feb-may with state being in june=4 1/2 months, college baseball= 5 1/2 months, mlb= 8 months, if you live and die select ball and playing it non stop you are playing baseball for 8 months......not even MLB players play longer than that....this is why you see all these arm injuries....also select ball you have pitchers that pitch and then they are still playing out in the field, these kids don't get rest like a normal 14-18 year old should just plain and simple...

when you play select ball from June-Sept and sometimes going to showcases till the end of October that is what is hurting these kids!!!! This really isn't a UIL thing its a Select Baseball thing!!
