  1. This has been a pretty sloppy game from both sides. Pitchers struggling with control, fielding woes, and an awful unpire (both ways). Astros doing enough to come away with a win.
  2. Again, glad we got a win. Gotta be better in the second half of games.
  3. Haha sorry, I'll try to blindly commend and talk up a team just because I like them. Almost blowing a 20 point lead last week, then scoring 0 second half points against a trash Baylor team is embarrassing. That being said, this week has seen it's share of upsets so it's nice to dodge that bullet. But, I won't sit back and "enjoy" a win like that against a awful team. Texas football should be better than that. I'll try to work on my negativity though.
  4. Win or lose, second half Texas has been embarrassing.
  5. The entire 2nd half Texas offense is playing to not lose. Trying to run the clock out for 2 quarters don't work.
  6. Please keep the side talk to other threads. This is specifically for pick'ems.
  7. Silsbee fans should be used to the drama. They had a guy get cuffed after one game, and a parent/cheerleader brawl during another. There should be a lot of cops at those games regardless of who they are playing.

  9. I don't put a ton of stock in regular season series. Especially considering Boston had clinched home field throughout, not saying they weren't trying to win, but end of the regular season games with nothing to play for is different. Again, I can't predict the future, but I don't see either team winning 3 in a row. We will see.
  10. Maybe. LOL I am not gonna lie, like Spike Lee said in 2004, just before the Sox came back from 0-3, "I'm nervous".
  11. You gave out absolute garbage info, that was nowhere close to accurate. Take it how you want.
  12. Of course I don't know that lol. But as good as both teams are, I find it hard to picture a scenario where one team beats the other 3 times in a row. Boston won't be "biting their nails if they don't win both at home... They dropped one at home against the Yanks and responded with a 16-1 victory. If they drop 2 at home, time to bite nails. Again, I think both teams are too good for one to beat the other 3 in a row.
  13. -14? Disrespectful to a Top 10 Team in the Country......
  14. I'm almost certain he is being funny.
  15. Regardless, if they win one in Boston (which I expect), they aren't winning 3 in a row in Houston. Unless they win games 1 and 2, the series will finish in Boston, winner idk.
  16. Battle of two of the worst QB's in the league. Jacksonville has the better defense, Dallas has the better running game, neither team can throw it. I would say Jacksonville wins.
  17. Brock Osweiler QBR by year 2012-2017 56.2, 84.1, 90.4, 86.4, 72.2 (Houston year), 72.5 Again, comparing what Watson has already done, to Brock Osweiler is laughable. [Hidden Content] Matt Schaub was a serviceable starter. Schaub shouldn't be placed in that same category with Osweiler either. What did him in was 6-7 of being average, followed by his last season when he had a 72 QBR and threw 14 INTS to just 10 TDs. The organization realized they had to move on. Anyway, I'm not going to keep going with you. BTW, Schaub never finished with a better QBR than Watson has right now.
  18. IDK where you are getting that from, but this not even close. [Hidden Content] Career QBR-98.9 2017 QBR- 103.0 2018-QBR 94.6 (he has had 1 game this year with a QBR under 98....) Try again.
  19. I'm a Sox fan for various reasons. When playing the Yanks it's never over.
  20. Slight sarcasm. They definently had an outlier game, though. Alex made some changes to the lineup by starting Pearce, Holt, Devers and Vasquez. But, I expect it to still go 5 and be a hard fought series. Whoever the Astros get, will have some battle wounds.
  21. Don't get the punt. You got Ezekiel Elliot. You gotta go for that. Garrett has been protected by Jones for several years. Jones calling him out on his inept decision making, may actually be the beginning of the end of Jason Garrett. Garrett is so weak though, he may accept a demotion to a position coach.
