He got out while the getting was good, and moved to a school that has very good talent that will be in BC for another few years. When he saw that WOS was going to be down for a couple years, he bailed to a school that appears to be loaded for the next few years. It happens.

I was thinking the same thing earlier. For example, if a former Ozen player wins a job on Taylor's offense over a former Central player, parents of that kid blowing up that Taylor is looking out for his Ozen guys and what not. I have been around a lot of "little league dads" and that is not far fetched and quite possible.

I'm with you. Now, back to football. United will be loaded with talent, obviously. As a realist, I would expect some growing pains early, and they do not have that favorable of a schedule. I am hoping they get going quicker than expected and make a run. Regardless of what happens the first year, the kids need the community to stay behind them.

You will see me saying nothing but positive things about BISD, but more importantly the students there. The comment that was quoted below yours was not just an attack on the other guy, but was an accusation white outsiders. I have no problem with that guy getting called out, but it is wrong and ignorant to lump all white non- BISD residents together and tag them as racists.

Silsbee was destined to be down this year, from last year at least. They lost some pretty significant pieces. On top of that, two significant pieces to this years team have been lost to injury. It is not fair, but sometimes these things happen.

Regardless of who is at fault, if you don't allow teams without lights to host games, the problem would get fixed. One way or another, those schools would figure it out.
