Yates was also good and it ended by 17. I don't doubt Carter will be good and I don't think Silsbee will beat the breaks off them. But I don't think it will be a single digit game. I would bet Silsbee wins out by 12+ each game.

Not a team left in 4A that will "push" Silsbee. Barring a catastrophe, Silsbee cruises to back to back titles.

HF had a QB that was a senior in 2015. I watched him run for about 500 yards and 5-6 TD's in a game. It was my understanding that he was that type of player nearly every week. He was a fantastic talent. Those types of kids have the ability to hide a lot of flaws for others. Jehling did nothing special to bring that program from the abyss, but it was crap when he got there, it was crap while he was there, and there is no sign (player talent, coaching talent, board support, community support) that it will get any better any time soon.

Me and the Wife were heavy into the Walking Dead. She completely stopped watching midway through last season and I am doing my very best to hang in there, but this show has gotten plain bad. Had so much potential, but is almost unwatchable at this point. It drags out story lines and plays the same episode from a different perspective every week. Just bad.

Time has already told. The dude has been a main cog in 3 State Titles. Bay City was awful when he got there and in his first 2 seasons there got them to 7-4 and in the playoffs twice. You are a troll. Go back to the political forum and spew your ignorance there.

I saw HF play a few times the last few years. Facts are, they had one horse at RB, maybe two other decent players, and then a bunch of average to severely below average players. HF was a dumpster fire before Jehling got there and they will remain the same next year without him. I don't see how this job won't be an "in house" hire. There isn't a quality coach in Texas who would take that job for any other reason than the title and the stepping stone. I would rather be the Head Baseball Coach for Kirbyville 3 days into a season than the AD at HF.

Can't end as bad as the "Johnny Football" saga.
