  1. The XP last week you are talking wasn't kicked because the Saints were in the locker room. As any team would, time ran out as Diggs finished them off, they ran to the locker room thinking the game was over. Only a handful of Saints players ran back out to "defend" the XP. The Vikings did the right thing for the situation and just took a knee. I mean the Saints Punter was out there playing on the DL for the XP.
  2. I don't doubt there are some bad beats. No question. One guy on here last week was saying the Saints player missed the tackle at the end on purpose for the same reasons your describing. Moral of the story, don't bet with a bookie haha
  3. It has been refreshing to not have to hear about this mess anymore. Looking back to about week 7, you really haven't heard much about players and kneeling, though I am sure they still are. Thank god it isn't get shoved down the fans throat anymore.
  4. HAHA I know I am with you. There are a handful of plays over time that leaves you scratching your head. All he had to do was just bring him down in bounds and it would have been over. But..... he's a rookie. Here is what I think happened after hearing his explanation. He said he didn't come up in time and make a play on the ball and that next time he would attack it and "go make a play". I think he got caught in the middle of trying to attack the ball and knock it down and just making a tackle. I think he came into thinking he was going to go high for the ball or the hands and as he closed he realized he would be to late and panicked, rushed it, and made an awkward attempt at a tackle. It was horrible and he will never live it down, but I will never believe that he made himself "that guy" forever all over one game.
  5. I have a hard time believing that athletes fix the games. If it is fixed it would come from the official, or coaches, or something like that. If it were fixed by players, they would write books or leak info for money. Players don't fix the games. Also, why in the world would the league want to fix a game for Case Keenum to beat Drew Brees out? The Super Bowl would generate more money for a Brady vs Brees Super Bowl. Not Bortles and Keenum. If the league was fixed, why would the team that has the biggest following in America, never make it past the 1st round. Don't you think the league would "fix" the games so the most popular team would be playing longer, driving up the revenue? Please, the dude whiffed on a tackle. He didn't say "Oh hell were suppose to lose, I am going to miss this tackle and make myself the ass of all jokes for the rest of my life so 1 game can be fixed". Get out of here with that.
  6. Correct. Coaches drive the bus, players win the game...haha
  7. 1A-3A 70% Athletes 30% Coaching 4A-5A 60/40 Athletes/Coaching 6A 50/50 Athletes Coaching
  8. You guys are right. The doesn't seem to be any of our favorite Dems left. I imagine they are somewhere on a knee protesting our oppressive comments and responses. Shame, they made for some good entertainment. Hoops doesn't count. He isn't a Dem, he is just confused...
  9. I have no idea what to expect in the NFC. I could see Atlanta, New Orleans, and Minn all having a decent chance of coming out alive. The AFC is much more simple. New England or Pitt. Gun to my head, I think we have a repeat of last year.
  10. The SEC, in my opinion, is the best conference. It is really hard to make an argument against that.
  11. I don't get the point of this Aggie beating his chest about how great the SEC is. Aggie contributes nothing to that claim. There are several schools that make the SEC "best" conference in College Football, but Aggie is not one of those schools. That is like saying "Yeah man my cousin is cool as hell, he is a bad ass. He gets all the ladies and can whip anybody.". Yeah, maybe he is, but you are still a little dweeb. So what?
  12. What type of talent does Kirbyville have for the next couple years? Is the talent level going to be down again next year or do they have some players coming up?
  13. Nederland lost to Manvel because Manvel is very very good. Which is why they are playing in a SC this week. They had significantly better players than Nederland, even those who support Nederland would tell you that. It is not hard to see. Once again, I will bet you haven't seen any team outside of 22/21 5A play in the last five years. Your reference to PNG in the 70's is laughable. Football and players and coaches are far and beyone what they were almost 50 years ago. I can't/won't continue with a troll, and you sir, are just that. Take a drive to AT&T, hell or just watch the games on TV, and come back and tell me your assessment of the athletes playing this week, and Nederland. Troll.
  14. I thought the favorite was 1 team. THE favorite... IDK. I'm not from Silsbee, but regardless of a loss, I still think they are "The favorite" to win it all. The Warriors lose games during the year, and ball most accounts, are the favorites to win another title.
  15. Idk, I have put a lot of work into this guy right here. I've almost got him.
  16. Some of the topics, like what is being discussed as a "real job", I stay out of. Not worth the headache. However, there is a difference between an opinion and an agenda. CardinalBacker has an opinion (which I disagree with). That other guy has an agenda. He has been stirring the Monte pot since before he got hired, and it is obvious he knows nothing about modern day football programs across the state. But thanks for the compliment. I try to post as if people knew who I was. Fair and balanced, like FoxNews.
  17. I don't like this Early Signing thing. Teams are still playing, they need to be focused on that. Signing can wait, IMO.
  18. Never heard of Jonesboro, but I want to give those boys a hug. Congrats to BC.
  19. Geez, it's one thing to lose a SC, it is another to lose because you played the worst game of you're season.
