Why would Newton even want this game, at least for the next two years. Kirbyville is awful and won't be much better in the short term? It won't prepare Newton at all. They got the better end of the schedule anyway, if they are really picking up WOS. What is the point of wanting to play a team you know you will beat the breaks off of?

As much as I hate this, it is true. But, the Yankees have been significantly down in recent years, and have no real shot to win a World Series or even get there, they do pull the ratings up.

I agree with both of you. He is very talented and could get there, but is not there yet. And the play calling, thus far, leads you to believe he is. It is hard to blame an offensive line that has 3 pro bowl guys playing there. Any line, who is asked to defend the pass 30+ times a game is going to give up a couple of mistakes.

You are correct. The whole argument against it is "Well, they are at work, and you can do that protesting off the clock when you are at home". But, if the boss is okay with it, that argument is null and void.

What is kneeling doing? Are things getting better or worse? Is anything at all changing for the better? If not, how will players keep kneeling for no change, before they attempt to try something different?

Facts. Dallas is 1-5 in game that Prescott has more than 30 attempts. 1-3 Last year, 1-2 this year. Prescott is not an elite QB who you turn the game over to. For whatever reason the play calling is so pass happy its ridiculous.

Last year Prescott was not asked to do "too much". They leaned on the O-line and Elliot. This year, Dallas wants so bad to show how good Prescott is, they have gotten away from what makes the offense good. Prescott is not a bad quarterback by any stretch. But, he also isn't any elite passer. He has thrown the ball 36, 50, 18, and 36 times. That is was too many attempts for him. That is way it seems like he is getting hit/pressured more often. He is 1 interception away from tying his total from all 16 games last year, because for whatever reason, they are trying to make him something he is not. Lean on the Line and Elliot, get off the Dak throwing it 40 times a game train.

There is no question, Woodville has a good team. The district as a whole is much better when Kirbyville is their usual self. But, I do not think that is the case this year. It is a down year for the district for sure.

Would have loved to see Texas stay with Sam. Started slow against USC, but man he found himself in the 2nd half and he led Texas into a classic with the #4 team in the country. Had he not fumbled, may have won it. That probably isn't near the same game had Shane been playing.
