It was a great comeback in the 4th for PCA, but a hard fought win in the end for Cushing. It's just upsetting that the game was plagued by glaring inconsistencies by factors out of the athlete's control.

No joke, they got some good players and coaching.

Congratulations!!! Also, congrats to MaRozzney House, of Pineywoods, for his selection to the All Region team!

What a great game to watch. PW seemed to come out and have a better 3rd. Anyways glad I got to see it. #4 from SP, just WOW!!! Dude has unlimited range. But that team at PW putting together a big game tonight.

Free Throw line calls.... You never know from one season to the next, or game to the next, when the kids can enter the lane.

Just wanted to throw out a big congratulations to Pineywoods on their 1st ever District Championship! Those boys have been working their tails off, and a couple of them have been a part of the program since it's origins just a few years ago. There is a lot of good games tonight and it's a great time for scoreboard watching!!!

I know Alto and PCA have had some real good games. Alto has a good looking team.

Pineywoods 64 Broaddus 56 Final

I didn't get to see that game but I heard Grapeland pulled it out by 10 I believe.

Very unselfish player that elevates the entire team with his presence. Can take over a game if need be.

I know Grapeland is going to be a tough team to beat, and well BS is still BS whether or not they lost players to graduation. Don't know much about Tenaha, Shelbyville or Evadale but I am sure they are as good as there record and stats look. However, Pineywoods, Alto and Chireno all have good teams that can run with any 2A in the Region.

There is definitely a couple teams in there that could pull an upset or two. This will be a fun Region to watch!
