I'm sure every kid or parent will not be happy no matter who is hired. Some may want a coach who runs the ball more and others a coach who passes more. Some will want an AD who focuses only on football and others one who looks out for the entire program. Whatever happens im sure someone will get mad and take their kid somewhere else. It is the way it is nowadays.

There have been 5 or 6 coaches on campus this week to interview. I'm sure they will hire the person they feel is the most qualified regardless of personal opinions and previous affiliations

Looks like Devon is the only freshman listed in any classification. Amazing achievement and he is a great kid. Congrats To him

HF varsity beat Kountze 8-1 on Thurs. Beat Groveton 11-1 and Liberty 8-0 yesterday. Adam Burgason threw a no hitter against Liberty HF JV beat High Island Varsity 14-3 and Sabine Pass V 7-6 lost to Ozen 18-11

I know the players from Kountze are in shape and used to running but I think the loss of another key player will effect them with depth and energy due to the quick turnaround. EC can play 8-9 players and should be more rested due to the lopsided win last night. I think they win by 5-8 pts. Like AAW's pick of 73-68

Another EC win

HF wins 3-2 on penalty kicks was 1-1 after extra periods. LCM has played great in both games vs. HF and they could make some noise in the playoffs

I believe EC won district for JV and 8th grade this year. They may step back a little next year and win district for the next 3 years after that

Hope #3 and #5 have great games tonight. I think Silsbee wins by 25 if they let up in the 4th and by 40 if they want to make a statement to all the Houston haters

EC has some talent coming up over the next few years as well. #21 is a freshman
